Out of everything you've heard about Dishonestly Yours, what trope are you most excited to read in it? (i.e found family, con artists, best friend's older brother, morally grey characters, high angst, twist/turns, grumpy/grumpy, etc.)

Happy Friday and Happy Pride, magical & heroic beauties!! We're just a little over two weeks away from Dishonestly Yours releasing, which is so surreal. It's been SO long since we've had a Book 1 in a series release. Literally...it's been since 2017 with Damaged Like Us. (Not counting Bad Rep, since that started as a web series). Marketing Book 1 in a series and Book 13 is a completely different ball game. There's also a lot more nervousness with releasing a new series. Is anyone even going to read this one? -- is a question that we've been asking ourselves all year. But seeing how much early readers have loved it and their art and social media posts has been the true force behind crushing a lot of doubt monsters. Those kinds of things matter sooooo much to authors, and for us, they've been keeping our spirits high. So if you're one of those people that have shouted about this book (even if you haven't read it yet!), thankyouthankyouthankyou!!! Your support means that absolute world to us. ❤️

Also big reminder: we're nearing the end of the preorder campaign. Outside of Dishonestly Yours, we're still waiting on edits back for Book #2 in the Webs We Weave series. Becca spilled the news in the chat room, but we'll make it official here. Yes, we have officially started writing Burn Bright!! It truly feels so good to be back with the families we know and love. This world is everything to us, and writing it brings such immense joy. It's going to be impossible to stop. Which is why we're hoping to shift our writing schedule around so that after edits come back for Webs We Weave #2, we don't have to stop writing Burn Bright to jump into Webs We Weave #3. If the powers that be work in our favor, we'll be on Cobalt Empire for awhile longer than originally planned🤞

For all those waiting on their signed copies of Nobody Like Us, they have ALL been signed and all the character notes have been written. We've already started shipping the last batches of these orders out 🎉

📍 ICYMI: IMPORTANT NEWS

Once we sell out of our current inventory, we will be transitioning the store from signed books to signed bookplates.

What does that mean? The signatures won't be inside the book but your book will automatically come with a bookplate with both of our signatures.

Why the change? We no longer live together, so it's more difficult to carve out time away from writing to drive up to sign books. Bookplates are our solution, since we can ship them to each other.

If you REALLY need to finish your collection with signed books, NOW is the time to order them. Once a book sells out, the next time it's for sale on the store it will be signed via bookplate. (There will be an indicator when you're ordering a book signed via bookplate. As of right now, all signatures are inside the book.)
