Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties!! Bonus scenes are being finished up and we should have those to you either this weekend or Monday. We know we're cutting it down to the verrrry end of the month, and we thank you so much for your patience! Again -- this comes down to us being a little too absorbed in Webs We Weave 3, but we haven't forgotten about Patreon and these characters we love so very much! And Headstrong Like Us is also my absolute favorite book! I have re-read it countless times. It’s such a great HEA, and I just love how Ripley becomes part of Marrow’s family.

Lovers Like Us is my absolute favorite. I love them all on the tour bus/ road trip and seeing them interact with fans at the q and a's, it was so much fun!! I think once these characters have more LI it could be fun to do another fan event like that again with them tagging along. Coming in 2nd and 3rd is Headstrong like us and Unlucky like us. Nobody like us almost made the list, it was almost perfect I just was left alittle dissapointed that Lunnelly (my favorite and most anticipated couple) only had one kid I always imagined them with a minimum of 2, that to me fit the couple. Also was hoping for one last glimpse of Roxanne and maybe Winifred but them not appearing made sense, when you explained why you didnt include them in the NLU podcast. But anyway your books are AMAZING you guys are in the top 3 authors of my most rereads in its entirety of books . Sometimes I only reread chunks of certain books but with you ladies I can reread a whole book often 😊. I hope your progress in writing continues to go well for you ladies while you write book 3 in the Webs we weave series. Question after listening to the latest podcast on OG plans of Addicted /Like us series would you ever use the name Ambrose for a potential main character or even baby name? 🤔 It's definitely a unique name 😆

Hey girls, happy Saturday! 👋🌟 Okay, so answering the favourite Like Us novel… this is so hard! I can immediately tell you which book I love most in the Addicted series and the ranking…. but when it comes to Like Us, I find myself loving several books equally. With Addicted, I have a clear hierarchy, but with Like Us, it’s more of a tie between a few favourites. 🤔💭 If I had to choose, I’d say Alphas Like Us really stands out in terms of sophsticated plot, many threads, character arcs, and creative writing—it’s just chef’s kiss. 👏 But the novel I keep rereading is Headstrong Like Us (and the accompanying Bonus Chapters). It has such a cosy, domestic feel, and I love the first-gen lore woven throughout. Plus, Jane and Thatcher’s relationship is just so beautifully reflected. It’s like a warm hug of a book. 🥰📖 But it is very likely under that same criteron that People Like Us might trump it! Bc it has ALL the Like Us relationships reflected (except for Lunanelly rip.. JK they have the longest novel that’s more than satisfying… for now 🤪❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥🫶). Speaking of, right now I’m reading Nobody Like Us for the first time, and it’s fast becoming one of my top favourites. It reminds me of Fuel the Fire and Some Kind of Perfect—I tend to gravitate towards stories where the relationships are already established. I really enjoy novels where the focus is more on the dynamics between characters rather than the chase. It makes you feel so in the know, like you’re part of their world. 🌎❤️ Side note: I’m also reading Malazan at the moment, and it’s the most challenging series I’ve ever encountered! It’s not like Lord of the Rings, where the challenge is in the prose or the dense mythology. With Malazan, you’re given zero context, and the “show, don’t tell” approach makes it really hard to grasp at first. 😵‍💫 But I think it’s the type of series that will pay off on a reread, where you can catch all the subtle nuances you missed the first time. 📚 Similarly, Nobody Like Us has that layered, immersive quality—it’s intimate, with the conflicts driven by family dynamics rather than external forces. And i think that THE WAY Like Us was plotted, felt very much like a Brandon Sanderson or a GRRM plot without the fantastical elements. BC of the Aced Criteron. And of course cuz of the length! I’m a sucker for long novels, so the longer, the better! 🖤✨ <3 RE: AMERICAN FOOTBALL GAME <3 Speaking of which, I saw that you Krista went to an NFL game recently—how cool! 🏈 It looked like such a fun experience. I’m not very familiar with NFL, but over here in Europe, we’re all about football (or soccer, as you’d call it ⚽). It’s huge here! <3 RE: HARMONY LAURA <3 Back to books, my anxiety has WAYY calmed down since my last blog post. 😌 Last week, I was feeling anxious and worried, but now I’m more at Harmony. I’ve realised that I don’t need another Moffy and Farrow in the Cobalt Empire cast… BC that M/M longing angsty Patricluous and Achilles dynamic of rivals and show don’t tell aspect/heroes in their own right! While they are not competing in the same sport time of romance trope, they already exist, and they’ll always have a special place in my heart. 💖 So i don’t need to try and worry myself into trying to project that expectation or wish to find that elsewhere bc I already have them. and they are NOT gone! They are still there, very likely written in bonus chapters and People Like Us plots and more. I shall focus on more ‘singular’ characters like Ben and Xander because i find their journeys going to be very fascinating. Ben, especially in Nobody Like Us, feels so harmonious and self-assured. He’s one of the few characters I don’t see needing a romance to feel complete, which I can totally relate to. I’m currently at a stage in my life where I don’t feel unfulfilled without a romantic relationship, and I think Ben reflects that really well (as oppose to a Charlie, Tom or Eliot who identify cracks and yearn to fill themselves with love within them!). It’ll be fascinating to see if love complements his harmony or disrupts it. 💫 As for Xander, I can’t wait to see more of his Hale side—I'm ready for all the uninterrupted fantasy geek-outs and inner monologues! 🔮👑 <3 RE: INTERACTIVE FAVOURITES <3 On another note, I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE (x1,000) the interactive element of your favourites list! 💕 Could i petition maybe including comic book runs and video games that you guys might be also playing? OR/AND.It would be even cuter to see an in-world version of that—like, what books or music would Farrow and Moffy be into? Or what video games they might play? 🎮. Or Lunalley are watching! That would be adorable and so fun! It’s already amazing as is, but a little fandom touch like that would be next-level cute. 🥰 <3 RE: VIDEOGAMES <3 Speaking of video games, I’ve been thinking about trying the Nancy Drew games after hearing you talk about them! I recently got a controller for my PC, but since I have a Mac, I’m not sure how to get them up and running. Could you let me know how you play them? I’d love to give it a shot if you think they’re worth trying! 🔍🕵️‍♀️ So yeah, those are my current thoughts! I’m excited for what’s coming in the Cobalt Empire, and while it’s hard not to have expectations, I’m trying to just go with the flow. I know it’ll be fantastic—fingers crossed for long, immersive novels, of course! No need to worry (as if you guys should worry about my fandoming over KBR novels haha) if i will stick around or not bc i will! I was just anxiety driven, and have centered myself and it’s going to be all good :)) as it has always been! 😄🙏

We never did finish Victoria! I think about that all the time. But YES we did finish 1883, and the ending got me right in the heart! I'm so glad they made a continuation with 1923!! I love that show so much too!
