Top 10 Cobalt Moments Throughout the Like Us Series

December's poll has ended, and the results are in! We'll be taking you through a walk down memory lane by choosing our top favorite Cobalt moments throughout the Like Us series. Much like November's Extra Podcast, we'll each have our own Top 10 list and see if any overlap! We're super excited to talk all things Cobalt for December, especially as a very special announcement is on the horizon 😉

This isn't a podcast where we'll be answering questions BUT we can compile patrons' top moments to announce on the pod (and we'll see if they differ from ours!). So leave your favorite Cobalt moments from the Like Us series in the comments below. We'll go through them and try to see which ones are mentioned the most to get a good sense of what patrons' top moments might be.

When Charlie shows up for Moffy (and Jane) at the cabin.... "Being a cousin who didn't doubt you" I really loved that scene with Charlie and I think it showed his heart (and an element of his vulnerability) for the first time.

Ok I picked my top 20 Cobalt moments (asking me to pick just 10 is impossible lol) from DLU-NLU (in no particular order) 💙 -In ULU when they’re trying on suits -Charlie asking Jack what it feels like to be in love in the elevator -Eliot going after Donnelly on the lake in NLU -In SLU, the drama-filled Scotland trip (including getting Beckett on the plane, him meeting Jo, Plan Z, Charlie being trapped, etc) -The plane ride back to Philly in LLU with Charlie and Maximoff -Meeting up at the bar in Philly to tell Thatcher about the game / learning about Beckett’s cocaine use -the library scene in NLU before the funeral -Charlie and Farrow talking in the bathroom at the bachelor party -Meeting in the attic in NLU -The Fizzle competition, including all they said to each other -All Charlie did for Maximoff and Oscar/Jack in CLU -Pink Noir for Tom’s birthday (sooo much happened!) -Donnelly and Beckett talking in the gym -Beckett telling Sulli about polyamory, apologizing to her -In Beckett’s dressing room with him, Sulli, and Charlie -Jane giving birth like Rose/naming Maeve for Donnelly -Jane offering to be a surrogate/donate her eggs for Marrow -Tom and Eliot seeing Luna for the first time after she was kidnapped -Ben and Harriet in the classroom -Donnelly and Ben on the plane ride from Vegas and then after they got home

I imagine the Colloway Couture fashion show would be huge? Even though we didn’t see it on page, I think them pulling off the show for their Mom without any public drama is a big deal! Also, do you think the fashion show will possibly be expanded on in CE, or is that event/storyline all wrapped up? I was wondering if we could get more details on it, but if it would still be spoilery I understand staying hush 💙

Here's me struggling through a top 10 because I love allll the cobalt moments and picking is hell. So instead I'm doing a top 20 because just 10 is too hard 😭🤣 So in no particular order here goes: - Tom's birthday in Pink Noir (sooooo many super interesting things happen + its funny) - That scene in CLU where Charlie is watching Beckett preform and sees Roxanne. -The elevator scene with Charlie in CLU where he asks Jack what love feels like 😭😭 - Ben and Harriet in the classroom in NLU -All that happens in the Fizzle competition!! (Eliot trying to mediate the charlie and ben arguing. Ben saying "you hated me first" 😭😭 the ways they presented themselves to the board ALLLLL of it -The library scene in NLU -Everyone meeting in the attic in NLU (that scene is INCREDIBLE it could be an all time fav) -Donnelly and Ben on the plane ride from Vegas and after they got home him talking to him after the car destroying -in NLU where Luna finds Charlie at that treehouse and he's reading a book and she just GETS him and talks about him and he agrees to be her memory guardian -The plane ride in LLU with Charlie and Maximoff where their relationship takes a huge turning point -Beckett telling Sulli about polyamory and apologizing -That dressing room scene in FLU with charlie beckett and sulli -The suit trying on scene in ULU -Meeting at the bar to tell Thatcher about the game in SLU -Eliot following Donnelly onto the frozen pond and talking to the camera and helping Donnelly -Scene in NLU where Luna, Donnelly, Eliot and Tom are sitting on their bunk beds and talking and drinking - Charlie and Farrow talking in the bathroom at the bachelor party - All charlie did for Maximoff and Oscar in CLU -when charlie basically blackmails Sulli into talking to Beckett -Beckett talking to Jo in the gym in NLU with donnelly there and their talk in the gym 🥰🥰

You ladies can skip this as it is off topic but I was just curious will it be weird for you to go back and forth between two main POVs (Ben/LI and Frog/Quinn) for 2 different books while writing them simultaneously? I know you usually prefer to stick with one couple at a time. I hope this question makes sense 😅

We can answer this here! It shouldn't be too hard since we've had to go back-and-forth between Webs We Weave characters for books and Like Us characters for bonus. That's a bit tougher since it's different timelines/worlds, etc. We've been doing bonuses for so long with POVs that don't pertain to the book that we're working on, so we're now very much used to it ☺️

(Note: One of these moments happened in a bonus scene!) • The Cobalts attending The Carraways’ first ever live show in “Damaged Like Us”. • The Cobalt siblings recounting their time spent terrorizing their past teachers (while Audrey listens on in fear because these are her future teachers 😅) in “Island of Kythira - Maximoff’s Big News: Part Two”. • Eliot taking the “longer route” off of the lake, instead of sprinting towards the dock in “Nobody Like Us”. • The game of “What Would You Do for Jane Cobalt?” in “Sinful Like Us”. (I’m still crossing my fingers for a bonus that’s about the creation of those cards once we unlock more Cobalt POVs. 🤞) • Tom + Eliot meeting up with Luna at Superheroes & Scones in “Unlucky Like Us”, and their “three-person hug”. (I’m not exaggerating when I say that I re-read that entire scene 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 once a week. I love that trio so much. 🥲) 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: (This bonus scene happened outside of the LU-timeline, so I didn’t include it on my main list.) • 6/7 of the Cobalt brood helping their siblings cheat on various school assignments, and it all coming out at a family meeting. (From the “Cobalt Family Meeting” bonus.) These are the moments that immediately came to mind! :) If I think of more, then I’ll add them to the list (I know that there are more that are dear to me, they’re just being stubborn & evading my mind at the moment. 🥲) 🤎🤎🤎

I believe this is a widely adored scene among readers, but in Charming Like Us, the memorable moment of Charlie first meeting Roxanne and asking Oscar "Who is she?" stands out. 🤭
