Happy Holidays, lovelies!! If you celebrate Christmas, a Merry Christmas to you as the day quickly approaches 🎄 Krista has already mentioned before how much we love to write during December & January. It's our two favorite writing months because the weather is so cozy, and I foresee so much amazing progress on everything 🥰 We hope you all are snuggled with a good book and enjoying the December magic! Thank you immensely for being here this year! We say it a lot, but we'll never stop mentioning how much you all mean to us. Our inspiration-tanks and love of writing always gets full every time we're here, and it's been so awesome to see so many of you in the chat rooms!

FAQs ABOUT THE COBALT EMPIRE 

We answered a lot of these questions in the Chat Room and the announcement post, and we're compiling them here for everyone.

Q: Will Bloom do deluxe versions for each book, or is that like a decision book by book that they make?

A: It's likely going to be a book-by-book decision and made on how well Burn Bright sells.

Q: Will the book cover previously revealed for Burn Bright still be the same?

A: It'll either be a version of the cover we made (much like how Berkley went with our covers for the Addicted series but slightly tweaked them) or it'll be something completely new 💙

Q: Does this mean that each relationship will get only one book? Or will it be like the addicted / like us format?

It's going to be one book for each Cobalt sibling BUT with the way we write, there are arcs that aren't contained to just one book just because it's the POV. We look at all of our series like the characters are real people and have lives that do not stop, so you won't be saying goodbye to characters (and their issues) even when you switch POVs, if that makes sense 💙💙 The way we've envisioned it, we think it's going to be a really epic six book series. And we're not really changing up the way that write. We CRAVE so much, even moments/dynamics/relationships that extend beyond the romance (which is pretty much known lol 😆)

Q: Will be expecting one release a year with them being traditionally published?

A: All we can say is the schedule is faster paced than that. It won't take 6 years to complete the series.

Q: Will we be able to order signed copies of the Deluxe Edition from your online store? 

A: We don't think we'll be able to have Deluxe Editions in our signed store since it's a limited print run. So your best bet is to preorder and then see us at a signing, if you'd like these particular editions signed.

Q: Are we likely to get more interactions with the Cobalts and their love interests in their brothers books before/after their book?

A: It's going to be very similar to how we always write -- where all the characters are heavily involved in storylines, and their lives don't end just because the POVs switch 💙

Q: If Audrey is part of the Cobalt Empire, does it mean that the girls squad series is completely off the table?

A: It's very much still on the table! We plan to write the girl squad series (and Xander's romance) 🩷

Q: How will traditionally publishing Cobalt Empire affect Patreon? 

A: We've only sold our paperback rights -- we've retained the ebook rights for the series. So technically, we're hybrid (still indie), and we've already received the okay to publish whatever extra content we want on Patreon 💖 Bloom is a publisher that is very friendly to indie authors and works with us to do what's best for us and our readers.

Q: Will you have a strict page limit now that you're traditionally publishing the series? 

For Berkley, they've never instilled a page limit on us. Destructively Mine is in the 500 page-count range, and we have a really good feeling Bloom will be the same as Berkley. Our goal is to write what the story calls for without dragging it down. So basically we're going to do what we always do 😆 Being trad doesn't really change our creative process. We won't write a skeleton of a story. It will include all the meat and bones.

Q: Any chance of a book like Some Kind of Perfect at the end of the series? Or even a chunky book with novellas?

A: We can't really say yes or no as of right now. That door might be open when we get there. We'll see!

Q: Will Ben's love interest be revealed this year or will that be revealed in the new year?

A: It'll be the new year. I (Becca) can't reveal this without Krista, so it'd 100% have to be next year.

Q: What is going to be the narrative timeline of the Cobalt Empire series? 

A: All we can say without spoiling is that it picks up right where Frog & Quinn's romance is going to leave off 💗
