Merry Christmas Eve to those who celebrate! 🎄✨ We're bringing to you a super cheery giveaway. 6 lucky winners will win signed paperbacks & some awesome mystery swag goodies relating to the mystery books you'll receive. Why the mystery, you ask? Well, we LOVE games. In fact, we've even had an Addicted Series Trivia giveaway in the long-ago past, and it was sooo much fun! So we thought we'd whip up a little game here on this festive day.

HOW IT WORKS

There are 6 mystery presents (yes, we're calling them presents to stay in theme this holiday season), and each present contains signed books, as in plural. All books are books that we've written, so you can see a full list of our books here.

You must correctly guess what books are in EACH mystery present for the chance to win one of them. So be sure you have them all correct before you leave a comment with your answers. (Please leave 1 comment with your entry for all 6 presents and not multiple comments.) Within the same comment, you also need let us know which mystery present you want to win. We'll be choosing a winner for each present, so it's important you tell us which present you'd like, as you'll be competing with the other patrons who've answered correctly and also chose the same present. And by "competing" we just mean that your name will be put in a randomizer, which will then pick a winner. But if you guess ANY of the presents wrong, you'll be ineligible to win. 

Basically, this is a little trivia game! It'll test your knowledge of our books. These are purposefully a bit tricky, as you'll see the riddles blend in multiple books. Beware, some lines could encompass books that are incorrect (for instance "I take place over the fall, winter, and summer" could belong to multiple books), and to narrow it down, you'll need to take into account the entire riddle.

When the giveaway is over, we'll post the results with pictures of what was in each present, so you all can see the cute swag and feel like you unwrapped it too, even if you didn't win. We'll be closing the giveaway before the new year.

Just to note, every book is a paperback, and the Like Us editions are the Special Edition paperbacks. We're not asking you to guess what edition or anything that complicated. You only need to guess the title of the books.

🎁 MYSTERY PRESENT #1

I take place over the fall, winter, spring, and summer. Some would even say Halloween is my most important holiday, but Christmas did end in tears. While on vacation, there was an awkward topless moment thanks to a DJ, and two of us even played Go Fish. Oh rewind, we can't forget about New Year's. That was eventful. Did someone roofie the punch?

I'm arguably the most adventurous there ever was or could be. There was a going away party. Who made that banner? God, the handwriting was not great. I will never look at a cornfield the same way again. Unforgettable things happen in a tent -- that should be a new theory. Like mother, like daughter. And did someone say...snakes in a tent?

I'm always on the move! Can't stop me, won't stop me. I most certainly take place in August and September. I am full of beginnings. I'm also a certified member of the Rainbow Brigade. I hope you remember that time at Camp Calloway. Watch out for fire ants! But also, don't run into poison ivy.

🎁 MYSTERY PRESENT #4

I could also be titled "a series of unfortunate events". I take place over the fall, winter, and spring. Some might say I became chunky by the end. Halloween was unforgettable for good and bad reasons. Not everyone got to stay for the meatloaf, such a shame. Do you remember the biker bar? Do you remember the steering wheel being too low? Or was it too high? I swear someone pulled a hammy at one point. I'm so glad he reached that gas station. Oh boy, did I love Christmas. The cinna-cake. The stars. The decapitation of... okay, we don't talk about that. Shhhh.

🎁 MYSTERY PRESENT #5

I contain arguably one of the most hated villains of all-time. Some would say he deserved far worse. Workplace conditions were not up to par and neither were the living conditions -- are those bunkbeds? Gotta love those food trucks though! On the other side of the country, it's way more unlucky. Like, maybe you shouldn't come here? There is a jukebox that won't stop playing Sinatra. But we hear the pastries are pretty good down the street. Then across the ocean, it's festive. It's Christmas. I'm also cold. Did a book get thrown at someone's head? I wish I could see who won Clue.

🎁 MYSTERY PRESENT #6

Oh how I love games! I'm most creative trying to protect the ones I love, but I've also first tried to protect my passions too. Things really would've gone to plan, if only someone went to law school. There was mention of a death and a wedding all within the end. Perhaps the true enemy all along was the communal bathroom. Just kidding! I know the real enemy was a rat snake. But why waste breath on the enemy, when you can hear the words of Sylvia Plath?
