Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

 HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Addictedverse, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish!

Out of every character in the Addicted/Like Us Series, which one would you want to be snowed-in a cabin with for three weeks?

Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties!! It is a snowy day here in Georgia ❄️ We hardly ever get snow like this, so it's a truly magical sort of day. We even made snowmen that didn't have pinestraw in them!! A true feat!

We're currently writing Burn Bright, which means we are deep in the world of the Cobalts. So far, we absolutely LOVE everything about this book. The plot, the romance, the family dynamics --- it's turning out to be something special 😊 We'd say the most difficult part of crafting this one is not inundating new readers with too much information off the jump. It's something we had to deal with when we wrote Damage Like Us, but for Burn Bright, it's even trickier since there are thirteen more books of family history before it. One of our biggest goals is to make sure this reads well for readers who've never picked up a book of ours before, but also have some Easter eggs for readers who have read the Addicted series and/or the Like Us series. So it's a little for everyone. Our fingers are crossed that it all comes together in the end ✨

BIG REMINDER: A Very Addicted Christmas is leaving eBook stores on January 15th. That means 1/15/25 is the VERY last day you can buy the book or download it for free via Bookfunnel.

This is weeks question was difficult! I would want to be snowed in a cabin with Lily because we could binge watch Harry Potter or Marvel movies & maybe bake! She would be so fun but I also think she would worry a bit.

I feel like Tom would be a great person to be snowed in, we could spend the day listening to music, or maybe playing boardgames, and I feel like overall he's a cool and interesting person to have a conversation with. I’m in the land of fires (SoCal Strong!) and had my electricity off for 55 hours and just got it back… I hope you guys have a great time playing in the snow!! Jealous! Donnelly would keep it light and positive plus hes funny and a bodyguard so protection and Luna would just be really fun to hang out with honestly hahaha writing burn bright so you dont have to read the others is genius and I'm sure you'll be able to pull it off!! You've done it before and you can definitely do it again. This is a difficult question! Three weeks is a significant amount of time (🙂‍↕️)! I adore Tom, **but** I’m unsure of what the service situation would be at this cabin (and I wouldn’t want to leave him without a way to contact his bandmates for three weeks). Even if we did have service, I’d still feel bad keeping him away from them for that long (🥲). I also wouldn’t want to take Moffy + Farrow because they have little ones that need them at home (this applies to Jane + Thatcher & Akara + Banks + Sulli as well)! I think Willow would be a good companion to share a snowed-in-cabin with (apologies to Garrison + Vada + Daisy for stealing her away from them for a little while 🙈). We could discuss fandom things to pass the time, I think it’d be fun! :)

Oh damn- didn’t realize the kindle version for destructively mine was $11, gonna have to wait for a sale or something 😭. Does anyone remember, was that how dishonestly yours was priced too? I didn’t think so but I also wasn’t as worried about money at that time and their books have always been something I just saw as worth the price. Still do, but $11 has just become a lot for me, I feel like spending $11 now for me is the equivalent of spending $50 a year ago at this time, and I literally can’t spend that on a kindle book no matter how much I want to lol

As for the question… my first instinct is to say Charlie cause it’d be interesting to see more of him and maybe even a glimpse of how his mind works, but I just don’t think I could do that to him lol, he’d suffer being stuck for 3 weeks, so I’m gonna say Eliot cause he’d make it interesting. Also I feel like he’d be totally down for going all in on the cabin vibes by using firelight (like a fireplace and candles) instead of regular lighting which I feel like would be so cool. As long as I’m stuck there, might as well make it an event, and Eliot would know just what to do to make it an event, pull out ALL the theatrics

Hi!😄 I have a book signing question! My sister and I just sold our tickets for Magic with the Belles and are looking for another signing that you guys are going to be at to attend!We’re on the waitlist for apollycon (probably not likely to get those tickets😂) and can’t make the weekend of the Meet and Greet Cute signing bc we have a family event that weekend every year, but I just saw in this hangout that Star of the North is June 6th 2026! When I went to look into the signing i found something that says it’s June 20th. Which date is correct? I just want to make sure bc we could make the 6th, but not the 20th. (Sorry for the super long question/explanation😂😬)

It's June 20th! Thanks for this catch omg! We'll update this post with the correct date. If you can't make that one, there are *very likely* going to be tour dates for DESTRUCTIVELY MINE, so you might be able to see us at one of those if any of the dates/locations work for you. We also will potentially be doing a launch event for BURN BRIGHT on Sept 2nd too. We'd loveeee to see you and your sis again this year!

Berkley has the ebook rights to Webs We Weave, so they set the price of them. They just had a sale for Dishonestly Yours, which was awesome! We're hoping they do what the UK publisher did and will put it on KU at some point, but it might not be as likely.

Oh yeah I figured it was the publisher, I mean it’s not like it’s just this book either, kindle prices in general seem to be going up a little. But hey, I’ll have to make it work cause I’ve been dying for the rest of WWW and DM comes out on my birthday, so I’m definitely planning to read it then, it’ll be a birthday gift to myself 😂
