Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Addictedverse, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish!

While Burn Bright hasn't released yet, the true "burning" question is...whose book do you think will come next after Ben's? 👀

 Weekly Recap

Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties!! It's March. Wow...we are here. For us, that means we've entered hibernating writing mode -- which is our fun way of saying we are eat, sleep, drinking this book until it is done. So if we're still behind on answering comments/questions in the recent Fizz Hangouts, that's why. We're planning on going back through all that we've missed once we meet our deadlines.

And as we get to the end of Burn Bright...all we can say is this book is special to us in ways we haven't felt since writing Addicted to You. We'll probably talk about it more in depth when we get closer to the release, but all we can say right now is it's going to be one of our all-time favorite books for a long, long time. This release will be such a struggle for us because it's the first time writing a book in the Addicted World where when we finish it we won't be able to then immediately publish it and gush about it and talk with all of you. The fact that we have to wait until September is complete torture. We're so not used to this!

March is going to be a fun month though. We have a lot of surprises in store and reveals (ahem...a cover AND excerpt) and just generally really fun things to look forward to! If you missed it, we are going on a Destructively Mine Book Tour! We will also be signing books you bring from home (and personalizing!). We've stopped doing personalizations on our signed store, so seeing us at an event is the main way you can get your books personalized now. So even if you haven't started the Webs We Weave series, we'd still love to see you at one of the stops if you can make it!

If you are attending Apollycon, we will have new merch at our table for sale including embroidered totes! We will also have original editions of Amour Amour and Infini for sale. (These are the ones that have gone out of print.) We're not doing preorders for these, so they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at our table.

One Bonus Scenes & Another Written Content: We for sure will be dropping the next part in the Fight Night saga, this time in Ryke Meadows' POV. As for the second written content, it is likely you'll be getting another bonus scene as we're working on finishing up Burn Bright before we had back into Frog & Quinn. In a podcast that came out last year I remember you guys mentioned how you considered starting with Becketts book as well so maybe his story is next? + his romance has technically been building up the longest so it makes sense! In the newsletter you guys announced that the cover/blurb will probably be coming next week…so can we assume this will be the first month where the main podcast can have questions asked and answered (non spoilery ofc) about Ben’s love interest 👀

genuinely think about this question all the time. because i dont think charlie will be second but eliot can't come before charlie because it'l make charlie breaking his oath to beckett less climatic if eliot ends up with a rochester beforehand lol! maybe beckett? but then he'd be fraternising with someone from the company - though i'm not sure if he has the same rules for himself. tom would be super fun but we haven't met his love interest on page so not sure! the suspense is killing me but it's so exciting <3 i think my final answer is leo/beckett/jo!!! <3

I don't really know I'd say Elliot but you haven't really introduced his love interests officially yet and I feel like you would want to build that before getting his book but I could be wrong. Only other option is Beckett I believe.

My dream next book would be Charlie’s but I think that mostly we will get Tom or Eliot next. I think that Charlie and Beckett book since it very connect will have to be one after the other. In my mind Charlie’s book should be before Beckett’s but I think before getting to Charlie’s book we will get another brother POV. I am going with Eliot only because we have more information one his love interest than Tom’s.

I'd say Tom or Beckett, as their plots have been worked on more during the like us series. I feel like Charlie would come after Beckett so we can see Charlie through his eyes first. Eliot could also be the second, but I like to believe his LI is Winnifred so it could make sense that his book comes a bit later so there's more time to delve in into the rivalry between families before his book. My predicted order is: Ben, Tom, Beckett, Charlie, Eliot, Audrey. It changes everyday hahaha but today it's this one

I’m excited and hoping for Becketts but I think it will be Tom next for some reason. I think that would be a fun one too! I agree I think Charlie’s will be at least book 3 or later to give more time to introduce him in his brothers povs. I definitely don’t think he will be the last in the series though, both because he is older and has waited so long for love I think his will come sooner and because I think it would be cool to see him in love in his brothers pov as well and how that has changed him. I’m so glad you guys are having a great time writing BB and that it is flowing well and so special for you guys! I love it when that happens for y’all and I think it is a sign of great magical things for the new series! I hate too that you guys can’t immediately publish but I understand why it will be a few months. Have you guys thought of doing your recap of the book podcast now (but holding it till September) while the memories and excitement are all fresh instead of waiting a few months till after the book releases? I think it would be fun to see your headspace of the book now versus in a few months when you are already writing book two and potentially three. Oh or maybe do like a recap now and then have a second part when the book releases of how you feel then, so the fully released podcast has both sets of feeling/memories of writing BB! Does that idea make sense? Feel like it may be easier to record it now too because you haven’t written book 2 yet so it would be easier to not give any spoilers away accidentally or mess up details of what happened in what book. Just a thought because the podcasts where you discuss your newly released books are some of my favorites especially when you drop little writers tidbits in them!

This is such a tough question! I have no idea. I’m going to say Tom. I would say Beckett, but I wonder if it will take more books to develop his love interests before his. It could also be Eliot. I feel like Audrey & Charlie are going to be the last books. Like maybe Audrey’s love interest will involve some penultimate drama that will draw in all of the brothers. Her book could also be the last because of this. I’ve felt for a while that Charlie’s book would be best last or near last (something I am a little afraid to say because of all the Charlie love!). I just think the mystery of his character would be a good driving theme for the whole series. I also think he needs to develop a lot more as a person before he’s really ready for his HEA. Having his book later on would also make for a great series arc.

Have you been watching The Pitt? I can’t stop thinking about that show, especially after this week’s episode. I’m hesitant to put any spoilers in here, so if you are reading this later, this is the week episode 10 released. There was a massive reveal about a main character that created a change in the doctors on staff (I hope that isn’t too spoilery). I did not see the reveal coming at all! I know there were hints, but the way the show humanized his character (especially his teaching relationship with Mel) made me doubt the hints. I am on the edge of my seat for the next episode!

I think Tom, but I do feel like maybe we'd need to see more of his LI before we get his book but maybe we're gonna get that in BB (!?) I think the full order could be: Ben, Tom, Eliot, Beckett, Charlie, Audrey (although I think Tom and Beckett could maybe switch). idk why I feel so strongly about Eliot being right in the middle of all his brothers (it could be his middle child energy lol) but that was my first instinct. ik there's been some discourse about Beckett's book needing to be after Charlie's bc otherwise Roxlie getting together won't be a big deal in a forbidden love way since Beckett will already be dating someone he works with so he'd be a hypocrite to get mad at Charlie about it, but having said that I feel like the conflict in Charlie's book isn't gonna revolve around forbidden love, especially if Cobochester is endgame (side note: ik I might be the only one who calls them that but I love it and now it's stuck in my brain and I can't stop 😭😅) bc I feel like their forbidden love is gonna be a way bigger deal so if Charlie's book also had that trope it maybe wouldn't hit as hard and also I just think that Charlie's got a lot more to work through outside of his romance so it really wouldn't matter if his book was after Beckett's but I could be completely wrong about this whole thing that's just my thoughts. I'll also be very happy if Audrey's book is last bc usually the last book is the longest and she deserves all the page time 🩷. I'm honestly sooo excited for all of them tho even if I do have favourites I'm equally excited for all of their books for different reasons, I can't wait!!! 💙

i always think that harriet’s mystery past would have her related to another cobalt love interest. so whoever she is related to would be the love interest in the next cobalt book imo 😅

The question this week is a difficult one (😅). I’m not certain who I think the second MC will be - I’ll have a more solid opinion once BB is released and we have an idea of the timeline, etc. I think that Tom, Beckett, and Eliot are all solid possibilities! :) When this question was posed in one of the GCs a couple of weeks ago, I said “Tom” for the following reasons: (𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗶𝘁!) I think that Harriet will have a prominent role in BB (whether that be as Ben's love interest + the FMC of BB, or as a close friend of Ben's) and the brother that she's been linked to since her appearance in ILU is Tom. Harriet was introduced to us when she was auditioning for Tom's band, The Carraways, and their strained relationship was highlighted in ULU & NLU: • “Then she sends this ranty email to Warner about how l'm going to sink the band—my band! She's trying to... usurp my authority, and I barely know her.” (ULU - Chapter 33). • “Dude, I know who you are, and your brother hates my guts, so maybe you should stop fraternizing with the enemy.” (ULU - Chapter 38). • “And you do realize your brother Tom hates me—?” (NLU - Chapter 67). I think it's possible that Tom + Harriet's strained relationship will be explored more in BB (especially if Harriet is going to be a prominent figure in Ben's life), which would allow Tom's ongoing "drummer saga" plot line to be explored organically, whilst still keeping the focus on Ben + those close to him (Harriet, in this case). I think that there are strong cases to be made for Beckett + Eliot as well, though! I’ll be happy with whoever it ends up being! 🤎🤎 I’m also pleasantly surprised by the amount of “Tom” responses to this week’s question! 👀 While I’m not certain who the next CE MC will be, I’ve always been adamant about not counting Tom out before we receive BB, so seeing others voting for him warms my heart! :’) —— I can’t wait for the BB blurb + cover reveal! I’m also still over the moon about the fact that we’re receiving an excerpt as well (you’re spoiling us this month 🤎)! I’m sending y’all writing cave hugs + love, as always! xoxo

I think you have solid points. I’m starting to see where he could be next. And if he gets a significant other before Eliot, that would actually help the plot with him being too distracted to see Eliot sneaking around.

that's a good point actually, I could definitely see Eliot not liking it. for Charlie/Roxanne the best I've got is Cobaruiz, but at this point I think Roxlie is probably too set in stone to change since so many people already use it

Yeah, that’s the one I hear the most for them. I do think having Co-, or some commonality between all the pairings would be a really cute idea though!

I am selfishly hoping for Elliot (my favorite cobalt) or Tom (I love the trouble makers so much) but I think it’ll be Beckett

I think the next is Beckett then Charlie, then idk and the last is Audrey I think we might get Beckett’s book before Charlie because we will be able to see Charlie from a good side (his twin perspective), since he is a complex character

I’m guessing Elliot. Tom or Beckett would be too risky (MM, MMF romance don’t sell as well and could impact reader fall off), too early for Charlie, and Audrey will be last im guessing

Maybe it's something we can do once we pass April and the tour (when things die down), because I do regret not pre-recording a podcast for Destructively Mine with all our post-writing feelings when they were so fresh.
