Fizz Hangout Weekly Discussion: March 15th, 2025 (Patreon)

Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

*This is coming at midnight EST, so it's officially Saturday. Time escaped us in the writing cave, but be sure to check out all the things in this hangout, most especially the signed store section for new updates!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Addictedverse, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish!

Have your seen the cover for Burn Bright?! Have you read the excerpt on Cosmopolitan? What are you most excited for now that the love interest is revealed?

 Weekly Recap

Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties!! This week was pretty epic. We cannot believe our first "deluxe edition" with sprayed edges has finally been revealed. And on COSMO!!! When we were told they'd be doing the reveal, we almost couldn't believe it. We've now been through the trad pub ringer a few times, and we know how hard these opportunities are to come by. It feels a lot like crossing our fingers and wishing for the best with little control over what kind of publicity push our books gets. So we're just so very grateful something like this finally happened -- and for the Cobalt Empire no less!

Plus...those designed butterfly edges. THE COVER! We were so happy that Bloom wanted to keep our OG design, and they actually went with this alt-blue version that I (Krista) had created way back when we designed the dark version of the magnolia & butterfly cover. And they elevated it to stellar levels with the detailed spine design and spot gloss butterflies. So those small butterflies you see on the cover will actually be clear and glossy on the paperback. Stunning! Here's some more photos of all the extras Bloom has given this book...

Since Bloom has North American rights, this is available on North American retail stores only. You can pre-order the deluxe edition on AMAZON, but if you preorder on BARNES & NOBLE, Bloom currently has a 25% discount code.

*use BLOOM25 at Barnes & Noble for 25% off

If you haven't checked it out already, Cosmopolitan released an EXCERPT of the first chapter in Harriet's POV.

Thank you all so much for your excitement and love for this reveal! We're so incredibly lucky to have you all on this journey with us. Between the comments on social media, the posts and graphics you've all created, and the chat room exploding in conversation -- we're on a serious cloud 9. We love these characters and this world immensely, and a big part of that love is being able to share it with all of you. PLUS we love the theories about what's to come!

This week on Patreon has been a little bit on the quieter side as we've been gearing up for this cover reveal and we've been finishing Burn Bright. Yep, you read that correctly. We're nearing "The End" -- which is super bittersweet for us. We're not going to be able to recover from this one for a while.

Also, be sure to check out the signed store section if you've been waiting for updates there!

WHAT'S COMING THIS MONTH:

Monthly & Extra Podcast: The monthly podcast has been chosen and it will be a Most Likely To...Cobalt Empire edition. We're SO excited for this one, since we're basically thinking about the Cobalt Empire all the time these days. You can ask your questions on the announcement post here. We're still brainstorming on the Extra Podcast topic.

One Bonus Scene & Another Written Content: We for sure will be dropping the next part in the Fight Night saga, this time in Ryke Meadows' POV. As for the second written content, it is likely you'll be getting another bonus scene as we're working on finishing up Burn Bright before we had back into Frog & Quinn. But if inspiration grabs hold, we might return to Frog & Quinn early -- so we're not committing just yet.
