Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties! We are back from A Meet (& Greet) Cute event in Knoxville and we had the absolute best time!! Thank you to all the patrons who came and stopped by our table. 🩷 It was also so much fun teasing Burn Bright by having the ARC displayed. We'd only received these chunky babies a couple days before the event, so our excitement was on the same level as all of yours! Truly freaking out.

There was something so surreal about holding this book in our hands. It made us the most emotional and the most giddy we've ever felt. It even topped seeing Addicted to You traditionally published. We can't explain why exactly...only that this books means the world to us. We're not putting any expectations on how well it will sell or how many readers will pick it up. We're just super glad it exists in the world as exactly the story we wanted to tell 🦋

To be brutally honest, the past couple of years have been hard in ways that we only experienced waaaay back with The Raging Ones and we thought we wouldn't experience again. We love what we write, but when we traditionally publish a book, we give a lot of control over to a publisher. It's not the creative control we struggle with so much as the marketing control. We have little say in how or how much our books get pushed, and when they don't get pushed at all -- it can be super disheartening. Even harder when we have to finish writing a series that we know won't reach many readers. But one thing we do know...

Seeing so many readers come up to us last weekend in Knoxville and tell us how much they loved Dishonestly Yours and Destructively Mine was both surprising (not that they loved it, but that they read it!) and really, really heartwarming. It made us excited to finish out this series as strong as it can be. So truly, thank you all for reading this series and letting us know 🫶 Destructively Mine will likely always be one of our all-time favs, and the characters in the Webs We Weave series mean a lot to us -- so it makes it extra special hearing others love them too.
