Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Addictedverse, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish!

Burn Bright is a BIG book sitting at almost 700 pages. So that brings us to the question...are you a fast reader? Slow reader? Something in between? We are notoriously very slow readers, but for some reason we keep writing big books LOL!

 Weekly Recap

Happy Friday, magical & heroic beauties! We are finishing up the very last chapters to Dangerously Ours and when we tell you...this book...the conclusion...it has our whole souls. It's such a different kind of series than anything we've ever written, which means it will forever have a special place in our hearts. And we think since the series is three books, it makes for a really fast-paced, satisfying read. Just seeing how far these characters have come from book one makes us all mushy inside. We love this gang of criminals 🖤

In Burn Bright news, the Launch Party was announced. You can get your tickets here. We will be making this more into a "party" than just a normal signing. So expect a Q&A, meet and greet, fun raffles, and lots of free swag. Space is limited, so if you can make it, definitely grab your tickets now! And thank you to all those who are coming!!! I consider myself to be a faster reader, especially if I’m really into the book. I was introduced to the addicted/calloway sisters series on Tik tok during the pandemic, I’m pretty sure I read all 10 books in a week and a half 🫣😂

Iam a fast reader and have been used to reading big chunky books since high school, starting with Cassandra Clare Mortal instruments series. So I would be finished BB in 2 days as long as there are no interruptions. I did have a question in the What can you expect podcast for BB will you tease us what holidays /birthdays will be shown in Burn Bright . I believe you were going to say it in the speed questions podcast but decided to wait until we were closer to release to reveal it. Thanks 😄

I am a very fast reader when I want to be/when I am able to be. I am an OG Harry Potter fan* from literally when the books were first released in the US, so I feel like I’ve been conditioned to read books that I highly anticipate very quickly. I would not be surprised if I finished Burn Bright within 1 or 2 days. *although I still have a soft spot for Harry Potter (I have a whole queer friend group of HP readers from junior high I am still close to) and appreciate it as a cultural zeitgeist, I no longer support JK Rowling.

I’m a very fast reader! I read the last Lunnelly book the first afternoon/evening it came out, it was under the 12 hour mark 🫣 ! I always read through super fast the first time, non stop, because I can’t put it down! (This mostly applies to KB releases, there’s just something about this world) then I go back and do a slower reread and annotate/highlight!

That would have been me with BB (I read NLU in 10.5) but my eyes demanded I close them since I haven’t read a physical book in like a decade and the print nearly destroyed me… took me 16 hours cause my eyes boycotted sight 😭 I persevered cause come on it’s BB 💙🦋

Honestly a very fast reader. I read this whole universe (addicted, calloway, bad rep, like us) all in a month to two months. And I go back and reread the books often and it takes barely any time

Very fast reader. And then I re-read but sometimes not in order, and I go back and forth in the same book. Then every once in a while I do a re-read the right way 😅

Our feelings are the same about HP, and we don't support JK Rowling's stance on anything (it's more than disappointing to know how awful she's become). Calling HP a cultural zeitgeist is really accurate! Krista & I were talking the other day about how it's so entrenched in cultural vernacular in ways that very very few IPs are. Maybe Star Wars is the only thing that comes close where you can mention Jedi and understand what that means without ever watching or touching the property.
