It's another Saturday Hangout this week! We are still updating you from our writing cave! If you listened to the most recent live podcast, you know that we're working on Silver Sweet and we should be finished up in about a month and a half. That means you will definitely be getting a WIP snippet very soon -- we've been dying for this!

We chatted a lot about the announcements in the live pod, but we want to give a special shout out to the 10 patrons who voted for Audrey on the Book 3 poll. You guessed right! Your predication skills are elite! 👑

Next Tuesday there's also another audiobook release with Ricochet coming out. We're sorry for the delay with this one, but it's so worth it! The bonus in the back of the Berkley paperback edition has been recorded in audio for the first time. That means you can listen to the Core 6 read their notes to their future selves. It's going to be amazing and we highly recommend pre-saving on Spotify, if that's where you'll be listening!

I’m excited for **EVERYTHING**! Tom’s book has been something that only existed inside of my imagination for such a long time, I still haven’t grasped the fact that believe that it’s happening (someone pinch me, please 😭). I can’t wait to be inside of his head and to see how his brain works first hand. We know that Tom struggles with perfectionism, so I’m curious to see the way that he processes & views certain situations. I’m also excited to see his relationship with music through his eyes! I hope that he’s able to achieve everything that he’s ever hoped for (and then some). I’m rooting for him always! :’) Then there’s the Phoenix of it all (🥹). I’m so excited to meet him! It feels like just yesterday I was asking for hints about his name in the comments section of a podcast post (lol), we’ve come so far! :’) I still haven’t processed the fact that I’ll be receiving his POV as well (and seeing him on page, living and breathing). I’m excited to learn more about him & his past (but also a little nervous because there seems to be a heaviness to it based off of some of the pins on his board). Phoenix get behind me (🤺). I also can’t wait to see what kind of relationship he has with Birdie! I’m excited to meet him as well! :’) I still can’t believe that we received St. Cobalt confirmation. I’m so excited to see them as a couple, and to see the way that they view one another. Hearing you speak about their relationship in the recent podcast had me over the moon. St. Cobalt Soulmateism is in full force (🥹🤎)! ~~ Tom is finally getting his drummer! It’s been a long time coming! :’) I want to thank you both (again) for always putting up with all of my questions throughout the years! :’) I appreciate you both & your kindness immensely. I’m so excited to finally be getting deeper in the cobalts! We’ve know about Phoenix for so long now and I’m excited to see where they go! I can’t wait to see the relationships between the cobalts from Tom’s eyes — he’s a bit different from his sibling and he often reminds me of Lily. I’m excited for tom and phoenixs dynamic but also Tom’s relationships with his siblings, especially Eliot and Charlie! I mentioned this in the podcast but wanted to say it again… Becca please don’t listen to those critics who thought BB was too long or let them get in your head! I promise for every one person who wanted a shorter book there were at least 200 more who loved the length or would even have loved more pages! The book was wonderfully paced and had a great balance of romance and family, and that mixture of both in your books is what makes you and Krista stand out from other authors. The reason so many people reread your books is because you guys have that variety of dynamics, so no matter your mood is there are always scenes you can reread that will satisfy whatever craving readers were wanting at the moment. Your stories stay with people and have impact on them because you write so differently from most run of the mill authors. You guys mentioned BB was one of the most well received books and that is because you guys had so much content (loved the long book) so both the romance and the family sides of the story felt fully fleshed out and satisfying. You guys give your characters so much depth that most other books don’t which is why you stand out. If doubts start getting into your head just remember, everyone here on Patreon loves your style of writing and are willing to pay money each month to have even more content because we love your books and characters so much. And people who were willing to pick up a chunky first book of the series will definitely be willing to pick up more chunky books - if they weren’t wanting to read a lot of pages they never would have read your stuff to begin with. Readers choose your chunky books because of your storytelling abilities, and we all love and appreciate it so much and never want you to forget it! Ok now I’m rambling but I hope you get the point! You guys are amazing just how you write, no changes needed!

Also - my conspiracy theory is that the critics saying your books should be shorter are actually competing authors who are jealous because they don’t know how to write stories with depth like you guys do. They are trying to sabotage you two because they are jealous of your greatness!
