haven’t listened yet but I see a heated rivalry mention LETS GOOO

“The Applebee’s season” (lol). That one was my favorite of the 40s as well! I’m so excited to see Charlie on Season 50! :’)

I was also disappointed with the TAR x Big Brother season! I was superrrr excited for it, since it featured some of my favorite past BB contestants, but I didn’t end up enjoying it (☹️).

Carrie

I agree I was so disappointed by the amazing race this year hoping the next season will be great. And I haven’t seen heated rivalries but I just picked up the first book since everyone here seems to love the tv show, can’t wait to see what it’s all about! I played Split Fiction this past year with my cousin and it was so much fun 100% recommend. A similar style game is It Takes Two, I’m halfway through it with my brother and it is similar to split fiction gameplay wise and really fun but definitely darker than I thought it would be lol

I haven’t read + watched much this year (outside of BB & HR & The Pitt)! 🙂‍↕️ HR has been such a standout piece of media for me! You can tell that a lot of love and care went into the project from **all** parties (something that doesn’t always happen with romance adaptations). Hearing Jacob Tierney discuss the source material, and its fandom, with such respect has made me adore and respect him even more. I would give the entire cast and crew the moon if I could. —— I have expanded my game pool a little this past year (so that’s been fun)! :) The recent Fortnite chapter wasn’t my favorite, **but** I did love the superhero season! I’m glad that they seem to be bringing their original lore back into the mix with this newest chapter + season! ~~ I’m also not a big horror/gore (?) person, but I started playing “Dead By Daylight” over the summer and I’m really enjoying it! :)

millie (coballoway's version)

Heated Rivalry 🥹 the show and the books have taken over my life!! it's undoubtedly one of the best adaptations I've ever seen and it's so clear how much care went into it from everyone involved. I can't wait for season 2!! 🏒🏳️‍🌈

Illyana

Happy Christmas and Happy New Year sososo much! One of my 2026 resolutions is to be more partipatory in engagement in the patreon comments to things. Love these podcasts as always! Heated Rivalry putting M&M relationships in the mainstream is SO important and it's so much fun. Glad you guys agreed! And sending you guys all my love from London! x

Arrow

Decided to listen to this to get some recommendations. I’m so happy that I did! I love Sci-Fi and I have not yet seen Foundation, so that is right on my watch list. I completely agree with your top 2! Heated Rivalry really surprised me by how good the adaptation was. I’m still thinking about that show and listening to the music from it daily. I am I soooo excited for The Pitt season 2. That was such an amazing show with great heart. I completely agree that the long wait for shows is awful. There have been several shows that I’ve just completely lost interest in because the following seasons took too long to come out and by the time they did I’d just forgotten too much of the plot. I love how The Pitt and Heated Rivalry show that it is possible to do great TV in the streaming era without an oversized budget - and shows that really elevate the careers of actors who are not well-known.
