~Spoilers!~ Some thoughts on Doctor Strange 2: I really enjoyed it, but I thought it was gonna make my top 5 MCU list and that’s not the case. I kind of wish they had visited more universes and I wish there was more madness!! But the Wanda and Doctor Strange character arcs were *chefs kiss* As someone who did not care much about Stephen before, I was shocked at how much I loved his character by the end of the movie. Also most of the times when I have an issue with a marvel movie it’s due to the length (some are way too long *cough cough* Eternals and No Way Home) but this one was too short! It needed like 15 or 20 minutes more to breathe. 100% do not believe Wanda is dead. 😂 maybe that’s me thinking with my heart though (Wanda supremacy!!) There was definitely applause when John Krasinski appeared on screen and I’m very intrigued about him 👀 not sure if that’s a casting that will be kept for the F4 movie but I wouldn’t be mad about it Question: he couldn’t bring the other Christine Palmer to his universe no? Like there’s repercussions if he does?? I’ve only seen the movie once so maybe I missed it.

Some thoughts on Spider Man because it’s impossible not to gush about the movie. - William Dafoe just came in and outacted everyone! Love that for him. - I’m going to be petty and say I’ve loved Andrews spider man since day 1!! I’m glad people are finally giving him his respect - When Ned opened the portal, I knew right away it wasn’t the Tom Spider-Man and when Andrew appeared I cried (100% serious) and then I couldn’t stop because Tobey appeared 2 minutes later. - The ending, while devastating, was amazing! - I loveeeed the cafe scene where Peter wants to introduce himself to MJ and Ned but decides not to because they’re safer without knowing him 🥺🥲 - when you realize this trilogy is actually just a really long origin movie. He doesn’t truly become spider man until the end of no way home when he accepts all the responsibilities and sacrifices of being a hero - I know Happy and Mays relationship was always treated as a punchline but gahhh the scene at the cemetery with Peter was too much. He cared about her a lot. When will Happy be happy 🥺 - The end credit scene with Venom was just ugh!! Most of us were expecting a Spider Man and Venom meeting because of the Venom 2 end credit scene, but he promptly disappeared after the spell was reversed. We were bamboozled! I wish I could erase my memory of this film so I can watch it for the first time again 😂 that is probably my favorite movie I’ve ever seen in a movie theater because of the fan reactions. So thankful to Andrew Garfield who always denied being in the movie and to Sony for not putting him or Tobey in the trailer so I could be properly shocked! It feels like I was one of the few that was NOT expecting a Tobey and Andrew cameo.

So funny to me how Becca was saying she does not watch trailers and likes to go in blind when I find she is the one who says she is tempted to tease future books and Krista is the one to stop her, but she likes watch all the trailers haha loved this pod <3

Finally had time to listen to this! I think I would rate the movie an 8/10 tbh. Not because of the movie but more because this was the next release after NWH and like you both said we got so spoiled in NWH with Andrew, Tobey and so much more + I completely forgot that this movie had to come out before NWH😳 -I had such a hard time accepting Wanda as the bad guy. Especially after seeing WandaVision. I really felt for her and wanted her to have a win (I know she wasn’t doing the right thing, but I want to see her succeed so badly, even though she scared me a little in this movie) -Didn’t feel much for America (sorry) I am curious to see where her story will go, but I didn’t connect with her as much as I hoped. -Seeing the actors who were a part of the illuminate got me hyped (John Krasinski, Patrick Stewart, Hayley Atwell) but I would rather see someone from the MCU because like you guys said the sole purpose was to kill them off -died when you guys said “They might fix it” about the CGI in she-hulk -How do you guys feel about people who leave the theaters before the mid/end credit scene? I am excited about Thor but not the same way I was for Spider-Man (because Andrew’s Spider-Man movies are where my love for superheroes movies comes from) or multiverse of madness, even though I'm sure a week before the release I will freak out again because I can’t wait (Died when they said Earth-616 and I will love you in every universe) I loved this bonus podcast about marvel After listing to this podcast I want to watch the movie again so thanks😮‍💨
