Happy Friday, magical & superheroic beauties! It's the last Friday of May 🌸 We're still very much in a writing cave, and the Like Us series is always on our brain (daydreaming about Luna & Donnelly is a daily habit 😂) All of May's content has officially dropped, so you can expect more good things to come in June. It'll kick off with the poll for the Monthly Podcast! If you're a new patron, this poll will typically drop on the first of every month. Teasers for Misfits Like Us will also be dropping next month 🥳 As always, don't forget to read the more news section. 💗 SALE: Addicted After All is going on a Memorial Day ebook sale! It'll be $2.99 for the rest of May 🎉 It might get price-matched to Amazon, but right now, this is an Apple Books sale

💗 If you're looking for Addicted to You and Ricochet in paperback, both are being published traditionally through Berkley, and so the indie print editions are no longer for sale. BUT some bookstores might still have inventory, but once those are gone, Addicted to You and Ricochet paperbacks will only be available to pre-order. Addicted to You is releasing August 16th and Ricochet is releasing October 18th -- both include exclusive bonus material! The short bonus chapter in Addicted to You is brand new and in Loren Hale's POV  🎉

We'll have signed copies of our indie edition (the cursive title) in stock on our signed store in July. We ordered a lot of copies, but we're not sure how fast these will sell due to demand 

💗 In case you missed this news, there will be brand new covers for the Like Us series 🎉  These will be illustrated covers. They'll replace the ebooks, and the print editions will be special editions. Both the paperback & hardcover will include one Patreon bonus scene in the back of each Like Us book. We're still estimating that they'll be completed this year. They're being designed by the amazingly talented Haley Secen ✨

The original Like Us series paperbacks with the faces will still be available online, and for the rest of the Like Us series, you'll have a choice between the face cover or the illustrated cover for print. This way you can complete your collection if you already have the face covers

💗 Restock of the signed store is happening in July. It'll include Bad Reputation, and you'll be able to request character notes for Willow & Garrison. For more info about the signed store, we have an FAQ page

💗 November 4th-6th, we'll be attending Shameless Book Con 2022 in Orlando, Florida

hi! this might be a random question but i just thought of it again the other day. when i was reading Bad Reputation, Willow really gave me some neurodivergent vibes, like maybe autism? i was wondering if this is just me since i have autism and i really saw myself in her, or if you had this in mind while reading? can’t wait for MLU!!!! i love lunnely <3

Hello friends *) If I had to follow around a famous one it would def be Luna... So i can UNDERSTAND AND GET INSIDE HER HEAD FINALLY :PPPP! Speaking of... would love to watch with her the premire of Kenobi today and with you guys of course! Woot woot! Have you guys watched it? Do you plan on watching it soon? I may have a bias, but i am so excited for her book to have a bit of Star wars / sci-fantasy love synergistically through her! This is not me putting expectations on you guys... BUT just mentioning what would add extra buzz in an already buzzled book :PPP

I also FINALLY got a Star wars Wampa hat (that has been literally unavailable to buy for a couple years now!) and wore it while watching SW ! lol! We def need to add to the roaster of bonus chapters a SW episode viewing sesh between Luna and Donnelly... Imagine how much fun that would be!

You guys! This isn't necessarily related to the question but I just had to share this here! Jon Bernthal has a GQ 10 essentials video on youtube and his last essential was his female Head of Security/bodyguard! Her name is Lauren and she seems so cool and is giving major Donnelley/Farrow vibes with her tattoos and their relationship seems like a respectful buddyguard relationship. You just love the see the real world representation of the celeb/bodyguard relationships! 😂 Also I love Jon Bernthal and the fact that he values his head of security like this! We have no choice but to stan 👏 Which Like Us famous ones do you think would include their bodyguard on their 10 essentials list if they had to do a video like this and how do you think that'd go down? (I can already picture Moffy "begrudgingly" having Farrow as an ~essential~ but then trying to take it back mid video while Farrow is endlessly teasing him about it 😂💕)

I would want to be on Beckett’s detail because I danced competitively for 15 years growing up and dance has been a huge part of my life, so I would love to see all of the different ballets that he’s in. Also I would like that sneak peak into his life. On a more Hale related note, I just watched my first X-men movie and now I’m so interested in these characters (I was so excited when Alexander Summers was introduced bc I just reread SKOP when Xanders name is picked). I watched X-men first class because Disney+ said that’s the first one, but then I realized it was a prequel, so I guess I started watching out of order. These characters seem to have such complicated relationships, which makes me both happy and sad to watch lol. I loved seeing Professor X and Magneto’s friendship and how even at the end of the movie when it turns into a rivalry, it’s sad because you can tell the friendship is still really there.

Super random- I watched the new netflix docu called, "3 mile island" and it was super interesting but i got spooked out for our famous ones because this power plant exposition happened in the same state! Like a mini chernobyl but in Pennsylvania! Would this be something the hales + the cobalts (cuz maybe the cobalts would tag along...) be interested in watching? Or even worse, investigating XD ?

Contextually we never say that Willow has autism in the book, but we also don't like to stomp on anyone's headcanons because a reader's experience reading a book is very personal and if you have feelings about a certain character, they're completely valid, especially if you relate to them in a certain way 💗

OMG LOVEEE that you're watching X-Men!! Technically you're watching in chronological order, so you could keep watching the movies that way, and they'd likely still make sense. X2 is our absolute favorite movie (and Loren Hale's fav lol) and it comes after all the newest movies. The newest are the oldest in the timeline since the new movies went back in time.

We've started Kenobi and already finished! We're loving it so far! I haven't seen Stranger Things yet (I want to but I've been running out of time lately), but Krista has managed to watch a couple episodes and she's making me want to see it so badly!! She said it's really good. I'm dying to see Top Gun! I hope one day, I can see it. Maybe not in theaters since we're too busy, but hopefully when it comes out on demand 💗 Have you seen any of those yet, Teresa? Right?! OMG! I loved it. Oh then when Daddy Vadar breathed at the end of ep 2? I was SENTTTTT GONE! Spazzed out of this galaxyyyy ladiES hahaha. But YES I DID *bounces up and down in excitement* i've been looking for it for MONTHS but all the venders didn't ship to the UK (rude) but i FINALLY made friends with a friendly dude on ebay (Ebay is the way man) and i got it! I will for SURE wear it to the Shameless event! I am pretty sure i can take time off work to go, because unlike Paris I didn't take time off, I'd have to now cuz I'd be traveling to the States. but because it's too further on in the year I can't anticipate *that* much far in advance because cases can suddenly come in and fuck up my personal life.sometimes... BUT I am trying to work a bit overtime now a wee bit so that the hours i clock add up to at least a week off, off holidays. I've seen the 2 episodes of Kenobi on friday and I finished stranger things on Sunday. I'll go see Top gun maverick next weekend. All the shows were great, you should DEFINITELY watch stranger things it's a great show and this last season was the best out of the FOUR
