Happy Friday, magical & superheroic beauties! It's the first Friday of June 🌈 Happy Pride!! The writing cave is extra fun these days as we're spending more and more time inside the minds of Luna & Donnelly. We've been so obsessed with their POVs!  Being the start of the month, there's a whole lot to look forward to. Plus, teasers for Misfits Like Us will also be dropping this month 🥳 As always, don't forget to read the more news section. We have more updates for all of you there. 💗 As announced here, Misfits Like Us release date is changing from June 28th to July 22nd. We really didn't want to move this date, but due to unforeseen personal matters, we have to push it. We're so, so sorry for anyone who's upset by the news! We promise the wait will be worth it. We're so in love with Luna and Donnelly's story. These two are so special to us, and we're determined to have a spectacular release for them. Plus, we were unable to find a cover photo to really "match" Donnelly until just recently, so it was likely the date would have had to been pushed to accommodate the cover. But we're SO excited to finally show it off once it's finished.

💗 Speaking of release dates, this year has had a lot of unexpected things come our way (both personally and professionally) and we've had to move every 2022 release by a month. We hate setting release dates and having to move them, and we absolutely hate that moving release dates has become a common theme this year for us. So after Misfits Like Us, we won't be doing super long pre-orders for any of our indie releases and we won't be setting release dates for any future indie book until much much closer to its release 💖

💗 We've gotten some recent emails, and some of you are super sleuths and have discovered the Calloway Sisters paperbacks over on Simon & Schuster Australia. Nancy Drew would be proud! After we re-designed the Calloway Sisters covers and announced them, Simon & Schuster Australia reached out and bought the print rights to all 5 Calloway Sisters books 🎉 They loved the new designs so much that they asked us to design Some Kind of Perfect to match. We originally had no intention of re-designing SKOP, but we couldn't say no. So if you head on over to S&S Australia website here, you'll see the new cover. We LOVE how it turned out! We can't formally announce it yet, but once we do, we will be shouting about it off the rooftops! These Simon & Schuster editions will be available in Australia and New Zealand. They won't have bonus content. 

Will this new cover be available in the US? Short answer: not yet. Mostly this comes down to the interior design. Because of the size of the book, we just currently don't have time to update the interior and we don't want to update the cover without refreshing the inside. Simon & Schuster are using their own interior designs, so it was a great opportunity for us to be able to update the cover to match the other Calloway Sisters books without spending the time to update the interior ourselves. We know a lot of you will want the new cover for SKOP, and re-designing it for the US is on our list of things to do, but it won't happen for some time and we can't guarantee it will be this year. We have so many other projects we're working on, including new Like Us series covers. All we ask is your patience for this one! 💓

💗 If you're looking for Addicted to You and Ricochet in paperback, both are being published traditionally through Berkley, and so the indie print editions are no longer for sale. BUT some bookstores might still have inventory, but once those are gone, Addicted to You and Ricochet paperbacks will only be available to pre-order. Addicted to You is releasing August 16th and Ricochet is releasing October 18th -- both include exclusive bonus material! The short bonus chapter in Addicted to You is brand new and in Loren Hale's POV  🎉

We'll have signed copies of our indie edition (the cursive title) in stock on our signed store in July. We ordered a lot of copies, but we're not sure how fast these will sell due to demand

💗 In case you missed this news, there will be brand new covers for the Like Us series 🎉  These will be illustrated covers. They'll replace the ebooks, and the print editions will be special editions. Both the paperback & hardcover will include one Patreon bonus scene in the back of each Like Us book. We're still estimating that they'll be completed this year. They're being designed by the amazingly talented Haley Secen ✨

The original Like Us series paperbacks with the faces will still be available online, and for the rest of the Like Us series, you'll have a choice between the face cover or the illustrated cover for print. This way you can complete your collection if you already have the face covers

💗 Restock of the signed store is happening in July. It'll include Bad Reputation, and you'll be able to request character notes for Willow & Garrison. For more info about the signed store, we have an FAQ page

💗 November 4th-6th, we'll be attending Shameless Book Con 2022 in Orlando, Florida
