We've been immersed inside the world of Lunnelly for so long that we are DYING to just burst with all the info and details. 💗 ICYMI: Misfits Like Us has a new release date. It will be here July 22nd. Check out the first teaser here. 

💗 We still can't formally announce the Simon & Schuster Australia news. But if you missed the Fizz Hangout last week, you can still check out the new Some Kind of Perfect cover for Australia/New Zealand over on the Simon & Schuster Australia website. 

💗 Signed Book Store Restock: This will still be happening in July (most likely end of July). The restock will include the Addicted Series, Calloway Sisters (both the new editions and original editions), Bad Reputation, and Misfits Like Us. You will be able to ask for character notes for ONLY Bad Reputation, Misfits Like Us, Infamous Like Us (while stock lasts), and Love & Other Cursed Things. We won't be offering character notes for any other books, including the new covers of the Calloway Sisters.

(As a reminder: We order lots of books, but we are limited by the space in our house. So we can't always order hundreds and hundreds of each title. If a title does sell out, we're planning on having more restocks.)

💗 Addicted to You and Ricochet paperbacks are being published traditionally through Berkley. The indie print editions are no longer for sale on retailers like B&N and Amazon. BUT some stores might still have inventory. Once those are gone, Addicted to You and Ricochet paperbacks will only be available for pre-order. Addicted to You is releasing August 16th and Ricochet is releasing October 18th -- both include exclusive bonus material! The short bonus chapter in Addicted to You is brand new and in Loren Hale's POV  🎉

💗 In case you missed this news, there will be brand new covers for the Like Us series 🎉  These will be illustrated covers. They'll replace the ebooks, and the print editions will be special editions. Both the paperback & hardcover will include one Patreon bonus scene in the back of each Like Us book. We're still estimating that they'll be completed this year. They're being designed by the amazingly talented Haley Secen ✨

The original Like Us series paperbacks with the faces will still be available online, and for the rest of the Like Us series, you'll have a choice between the face cover or the illustrated cover for print. This way you can complete your collection if you already have the face covers

💗 November 4th-6th, we'll be attending Shameless Book Con 2022 in Orlando, Florida

Hola Lore queens! All the new releases are sooo exciting! Extremely grateful for all the step by step updates on what books are upcoming,revised, released etc. because the more adult i become the less time i have to keep up with the shit i actually care about in life... lol! And If IIIII had to choose 2 characters to abduct with me... I'd obviously bring Connor Cobalt because he'll 'General Thrawn' us through the galaxy (footnote: I am currently reading Thrawn's novels in the Star Wars series, and he's LITERALLY Connor Cobalt. AHHH! He's essentially gonna be the grand villian across all Star Wars series rn...) and probably Luna! Cause she'll probably be as equally useful as General Thraw.. i mean.. Connor Cobalt :P. And speaking of going into space, with the re-arrangement of MLU itnerary, I decided to read in prep for Luna's novels... some of her favs, and started with Ice Planet Barbarians and MAN, is it fun XD. I def fall guilty though of always thinking of Avatars? When I think of them? Just with horns maybe? Anyway this stuff is GREAT! hahah

And In terms of Batman... I was literally reading Batman and the Nightwing entered the chat and now i'm like WHO DAT. Who DAT?! And think i've fallen in love? He's honestly AMAZING?! He's got the emo depth of batman but then the lightheartedness of Peter Parker and then just PHD-ed a whole new sexiness on his own... UGH. And I also started Fables! Amazing Amazing property... Hehe! The Writing IS really good! The characters don't take their 'situation' (i.e. their existential abduction) too seriously to make u feel emo but are also not vapid. What book did you read up to? I am at book 3 where the lead Kira has that shell translator in her ear?!

when i first read the question, i immediately thought Luna because space babe and Oscar because he would just be snacking and snarking. but then i thought Eliot and Tom would just be pure chaos in a chaotic situation and they would make the situation fun.

Have you guys noticed the new option on instagram where creators can have subscribers and exclusive content for them? I don't know if that might interest you guys as an Instagram version of the Facebook group or something. My personal grievance against Facebook aside, I think a big group of people doesn't use it I know you are pretty busy as it is but I just wanted to share this random thought that came to me 🤣

I feel like instead of considering preparedness, I'd be sad if I took the characters away from their loved ones! 😱 I think I'd go with Jack and Oscar so at least if they have to come to space they'll have each other and I'll get to witness the banter. And I feel like Jack would be good at negotiating us through space~ 🤣👏🏻

Ooo!! That is such a good question! I admittedly spent quite a bit of time mulling this scenario over, and have reached two conclusions (is that cheating? 😂): If the aliens are bad / creepy: I would want Eliot & Tom to accompany me! I believe that those two would wreak enough havoc that the aliens would be forced to return us to Earth (unless they just decided to murder us instead…but at least we’d be put out of our misery? 😅💀) If the aliens are kind / IPB-esque: I would want to bring Luna & Xander along! I believe that Luna would be the most knowledgeable partner to have with me in this situation, and she would help me optimize my time spent on the alien planet!! As for Xander, I chose to bring him along because I believe that he might enjoy some time away from Earth-related pressures? There would be no paparazzi trying to capture photos of him 24/7, and he could treat it as one giant LARPing adventure! :) 🤎

Nightwing is THE BEST! I only speak of this from my INTENSE love of Titans (the show) -- it is hands-down the best superhero show. And I say this with including Marvel shows in the mix, bc I love how ensemble Titans is (and it has mature themes). His angst is everything! I've been meaning to read Fables. I just started reading Star Wars/Darth Vader/Doctor Aphra 2015 lines together when I have a bit of time at night, and it's amazing. You can read them woven together in chronological order, which is so satisfying. That's about all the time I've had. I still need to catch up on the new episode of Kenobi (I'm loving it while reading the comics). Krista started Queer as Folk and said the first episode is really awesome -- that the cast is superb. Oh we both saw Ms. Marvel!! I LOVE IT SO DAMN MUCH! Gah, I am just so obsessed with the production value, the actress, and the storyline. I actually think they did such a good job showcasing her powers in a new way that works better for TV. The production/style reminds me so much of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and I love how artsy it is and different from the other properties. Have you seen it yet?

It's awesome as well! And continues to world build! It's a fab bam read! But my 'AM' read right now is Leviathan Awakes! Again, in honour of Misfits Like Us release and you guys making it canon that Donelley is a fan of The Expanse franchise I'd thought i'd give it a go! But it's a bit weird! Because now i'm juggling a lot of space operas that are debuting in my life rn- Expanse, Ice Planet Barbarians, Kenobi series and I also started Battle Star Gallactica XDXD It's delightful but also a very... recongisable first world problem :P

Ugh Nightwing is... so amazing... *heart eyes and swoons like a Hercules statue*. He's so sassy and flirty too... reminds me a lot of the Yale Boys + Akara's flirtiness when it comes to women all mixed into one! hehe. Re SW comics: LOVE that you started the comics! I think I was told, that unlike the Marvel franchise, the SW comics rarely get adapted. So If the storyline debuts in either live show, animation or comic, they won't re-adapt it somewhere else. It just puzzle pieces in canon. Granted Doctor Aphra may appear again in live action, but the arc in comics won't be repeated in live show format. Are you reading it on the Ipad or in TPB or did you snag one of the Darth Vadar omnis? Honestly I am extremely tempted to read the Darth Vadar comics... with one hand... (jokes! hahaha) Lemme know what you think when u watch ep 3! Hehe. Re Ms. Marvel/TV shows I have NOT yet watched the series but my friends that work in the comic store texted me knowing my affinity for the character (Like the blue true Padawan learner that I am from you guys ! Haha) that they loved it! I have to now... do everything I did for the MCU with the DC movies XD So Now i'm gonna dedicate some time watching those properties... I just watched the Man of Steel yesterday and it was... good? Cavill was awesome but like... the rest of the plot was kinda... meh? He barely spoke too. lol! Should be able to smashes these things out though farely quickly as the DC movies don't have as many cinematic properties. And I'm rewatching Merlin ! (making Moffy and Xander proud !) it's so 2000s but man do i ship Merlin and Arthur. And Arthur is such a Gryffindor it's hilarious to see XDXD I have never seen Scott Pilgrim vs. The World! Isn't is a comic? Have you read it? or is it a movie?

Oh and Fables: You would LOVE it. If you like X-Men then it's guaranteed you'd like X-Fables! Let me sell it to you :P -Fantasy dense genre inspired by OG fables characters like Cinderella, Snow white, Red riding hood etc. -Ensamble cast -Set in NYC -They're hiding their powers etc. out of fear of being persecuted -Mature rating- inclusive of romance, nudity, gore, dark themes, fantastical battles etc. -150 comics (The run is split into 4 compendiums! So for us long series folk it's UHAMAZING) and! It rebooted it's run now since DC bought Vertigo! If i had to muse which family member would most likely read it... I think for SURE Xander would love it out of the ode to the fantasy elements, but then the whole Hales fam would be interested given the ensamble cast overlap with their love of xmen and then EVERYone would be a fan! Particularly Loren given his love for GOT! But i say that under speculation :P Only you guys can make that speculation canon :P

Pretty sure we can expect a baby grandmother-named Moretti in the next book. Previous books have spanned at least 3 months if not more (sep-nov+?)Baby Moretti is expected in November, while baby Marrow is expected in December (if they are born according to due dates hinted in the books). We could meet one or both babies in the next book. Also there has been too much foreshadowing about something happening to one of the babies…I think something is going to happen to baby Marrow, it’s a Lunelly book and that’s the new baby they are closest to, also Farrow not being able to treat his own child…just thoughts 💭

I would definitely take Oscar for snacks, banter, and eye candy. And Thatcher or Banks because they're massive and I might need something comfy to sleep on. Also, watching Oscar wind up Thatcher is better than TV. Speaking of Thatcher, QUESTION, will People Like Us cover Thatcher's realistic recovery from major surgery, and losing an organ that protects eh body from infection? My husband had this surgery and it always annoys me in books when authors pretend it's easy for cuteness, but I know you guys aren't like that, considering how much effort you put into Moffy's recovery from a simple broken collarbone. Big love to you both <3 xx

People Like Us only retells the timeline of Charming, Wild, and Fearless -- so no Infamous stuff (unless we continue on with the novella series style), but Misfits Like Us picks up very close to the shooting (less than a month later), and the fact that Thatcher underwent surgery and lost a spleen won't be dropped and brushed over 💗

The Expanse is definitely hard sci-fi to me and one of the hardest ones I think I've seen be adapted to TV. (Hard, not meaning it's difficult, but hard sci-fi vs. soft sci-fi) so it can be kinda dense to get into. Like I definitely cannot be accidentally tuning anything out while watching The Expanse lol OMG Battlestar Galactic is THE BEST! Krista & I would rewatch that show growing up alllll the time. I still wish I could watch it for the first time and experience all those feelings again.

I would definitely bring luna because she would need to see the aliens and then i would bring thatcher because i need someone whos gonna stay calm and not panic because i will definitely be panicking and hes also huge and could definitely protect me and luna and then luna would communicate with the aliens and negotiate to let us out and thatcher could help with strategy since he was a marine

I knowwww! But Becca I also found out it got cancelled? So does that mean that Battle Star Gallactica just, ends abruptly? *Stapping in for a harsh landing!* Im only on Episode 3 of Season 1, and omg it's such a soap opera i love it ! I am so used to SW which takes itself very seriously and reserves laughs at the expense of kids messing up and droids being droids it's fun to see, like in the same vein of Guardians of the Galaxy, Battlestar Gallactica be chill! And I've had to put down for now Expanse cause like you said, its extremely 'hard' scifi and im legit not that smart to be enjoying 5 fantasy properties at the same time XD (Fables, X-Men, Nightwing, Battlestar Galactica and Kenobi)
