Fizz Hangout Weekly Discussion: July 1st, 2022 (Patreon)

Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Like Us series, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish! The question this week is...

If you could adopt any of the pets from the Addicted or Like Us Series characters, which pet would it be? Some options: (Sadie, Coconut, Gotham, Goldilocks, Pip-Squeak, the Newfoundland Puppies: Orion, Erebor, Arkham, and Salem, Jane's Cats: Lady Macbeth, Toodles, Walrus, Carpenter, LJ, Ophelia, Licorice.  Fun fact: you might be seeing a new pet soon ;)

Happy Friday, magical & superheroic beauties! It is the first day of July, which means we are officially in the Misfits Like Us release month. Soon you can expect a cover reveal, blurb reveal, and this month you'll also be getting the "what to expect in MLU" podcast and a First Look of chapter one. MORE NEWS

💗 Sweepstakes: Berkley is giving away print editions of Addicted to You and Ricochet. These new editions include never-before-seen bonus material! Sweepstakes end July 3rd. US only. Enter here.

💗 Goodreads Giveaway: Berkley is giving away more print editions of Addicted to You over on Goodreads. Good luck!! Giveaway ends July 15th. US only. Enter here.

💗 Simon & Schuster Australia now have the print and ebook rights in Australia and New Zealand to the Calloway Sisters Series! What does that mean? Australian and New Zealand readers will be able to pick up these books in stores! Plus the ebooks for Australian readers will get a fresh look to better fit the Simon & Schuster brand.

What does that mean for readers living everywhere else? If you'd like any of these Simon & Schuster Australia editions, they are up on The Book Depository, including the new cover of Some Kind of Perfect. A great thing about these editions is that they're VERY reasonably priced because they're traditionally published. It's something that we can't do as indies. So if you've been holding off on getting the Calloway Sisters because of the $$$ then grabbing the entire set on The Book Depository might be a great option 💓

Note: the Simon & Schuster Australia editions will be a different height than our indie paperbacks, so just be aware of that if you're planning on getting SKOP.

💗 Signed Book Store Restock: This will still be happening at the end of the month. The restock will include the Addicted Series, Calloway Sisters (both the new editions and original editions), Bad Reputation, and Misfits Like Us. You will be able to ask for character notes for ONLY Bad Reputation, Misfits Like Us, Infamous Like Us (while stock lasts), and Love & Other Cursed Things. We won't be offering character notes for any other books, including the new covers of the Calloway Sisters.

(As a reminder: We order lots of books, but we are limited by the space in our house. So we can't always order hundreds and hundreds of each title. If a title does sell out, we're planning on having more restocks.)

For more info about the signed store, we have an FAQ page

💗 In case you missed this news, there will be brand new covers for the Like Us series 🎉  These will be illustrated covers. They'll replace the ebooks, and the print editions will be special editions. Both the paperback & hardcover will include one Patreon bonus scene in the back of each Like Us book. We're still estimating that they'll be completed this year. They're being designed by the amazingly talented Haley Secen ✨

The original Like Us series paperbacks with the faces will still be available online, and for the rest of the Like Us series, you'll have a choice between the face cover or the illustrated cover for print. This way you can complete your collection if you already have the face covers

💗 November 4th-6th, we'll be attending Shameless Book Con 2022 in Orlando, Florida
