Happy Friday, beauties!! October is wrapping up which means that Loren Hale's birthday is getting closer. We always imagine him one year older on that day every year and what all the Hales, Meadows, and Cobalts would be doing to celebrate ☺️ Thank you so much for joining us here this October! We have a fun Halloween-centric podcast coming to you on Hallow Friends Eve, so stay tuned for that. We just dropped the Monthly Podcast, which ended up being one of our favs we've recorded! Every year I make it a point to watch the first 3 Halloweentown movies in October 🍿 I would pick Luna and Sulli to watch them with 🖤

Horror movies scare me like nothing else🫣 but I would watch a horror movie with Daisy & Connor tbh. Daisy because her sunshine vibe makes everything better and Connor because he would just tell me that what is happening in the movie can't logically happen in real life. 💃

i also had a fun little question! during SFU, Jane mentions that Eliot is like Ares and Dionysus' lovechild and it got me thinking: what gods would the other Cobalts/brothers be (as the Cobalts are definitely gods)? i could definitely see the connection between Jane and Hestia, or Charlie and Ares tbh

I dont watch halloween movie because im a scaredy-cat but if I were to watch one id definitely choose Luna and Charlie (luna just because she would enjoy it and I could feed off of that and charlie because he could explain why its all dumb and unrealistic which would make me a lot less scared)

Does The Rocky Horror Picture Show count as a Halloween movie LOL? I'd watch it with Luna & Donnelly (in an actual movie theatre!) because the characters are from outer space and the flick encourages audience participation. I have a funny feeling Luna and Donnelly would be in to it - it'd make a great date night.

Ahhh can't wait for the halloween podcast! Love it when they're seasonally or real-world synced! Hehe. I would really be down to watch anything horror with any of the cobalts (although i would tender to have Charlie or Connor there for their dry remarks about what's going on... may break the suspense! hehe). But I would love to watch spooky stuff the the Hales too! + Kitsulleti! I would love to see that trio watch just a horror movie together and see the olympic champ get spooked! She's one of us! hehe What are YOUR guys' all time must watch each year halloween type movies?! I can imagine Hocus Pocus... I really like Tim Burton's movies so the Batman one, Nightmare before Halloween... more halloween centered ones! Because I watch horror and scary movies year round... hehe!

As I'm thinking about this, this would be such a fun podcast Alternate Universe topic that's never been suggested! An AU: Like Us characters as Greek Gods Edition! I feel like Audrey would possibly want to be Aphrodite 🤔 My mind is turning lol. I'm def going to pitch this as a podcast topic to Krista!

Charlie would be entertaining to have watch a Halloween movie with! I think he's such a good pick! Usually we watch either Practical Magic, Halloweentown, or Hocus Pocus every year + one or two new scary movies we've never seen. Though, last year I watched Casper! So I suppose it's always one wholesome movie + a scary one. We also tend to watch horror/scary movies year round, and so we struggle to find scary movies when Halloween comes and we're always hoping new ones are out 🎃☺️ We watched the new Hellraiser movie on Saturday, and it was really good!! Also watched Barbarians which I thought was awesome too. Batman Returns as a Halloween movie would be such a Moffy choice! Though, he might give Lo a heart attack on his birthday if he did that 😂

Ahh thank you thank you for the new recs! I am going to be adding Barbarians and Hellraiser to my KBR tbr Movie/TV show list (i have an ongoing note on my notes app lolol!) I will be seeing Black adam in the theatre this Saturday and then next saturday be seeing Black Panther next wednesday... Kinda wished Namour was... hotter? I always imagined Namor from the comics to be a bit of a sass fest and super sex positive but they seem to have gone down a more 'zeus' like character instead! What do you guys think? :DDD And ahhh I love the idea of the famous' ones fav halloween movies! Batman Returns being Moffy's favourite halloween movie is amazing! He would def keep it under raps. What would Farrow think after Batman Returns being his fav halloween movie? I reckon he would just be... amused. right? Lol! I reckon that Luna's would be an alien property right? which one? Maybe the first one cuz she's an OG! And maybe Kinney's will be OF Hocus Pocus Right?! But the question is... will hocus pocus 2 take the crowning spot? No idea about Xander though... hmmmm
