Tracy

Rose, just to see her pissy reaction hehe

Haley Secen

Can I say all of the villains? Currently rereading the series and at the moment Tony is annoying the hell out of me so he’s the first one in my head but dang I have a long list (that I don’t need to check twice 😂) I hope you guys get to enjoy your break soon! I love playing games (board and card games) on a cozy night - which ones do you guys play?

space babe

heyyy!! i know there's nothing confirmed or canon supporting this (yet 😉) but i ship xander and Harriet, so i was wondering which shipname is better: #xarriet or #hander ? i think xarriet but it's not up to me lol

a

can you write a bonus where everyone is celebrating the Christmas miracle that is Xander Hale🥹 my baby deserves all the love in the world❤️

a

i want to see the grinch with Charlie and Conner. i feel like they cant be annoyed 🤣🤣

Illyana

I would definitely send the grinch to farrow! First to see farrow annoyed, but then see how Moffy would react! Would he try and pacify farrow as the grinch annoys him? Or would he try and shoo the grinch away? 🫂🤭

Illyana

And happy holidays girls! I just finally got over the worst lung infection and am off work for the holidays until Jan ☺️🙌 spending it reading the flash 😁🎄! What books and games are you currently planning this holiday season! Or comics! Also Becca! Do you root for the Philadelphia Phillies? Or the METs or Atlanta Braves! Are there any fav podcasts you listen to, that got you into the spirit of baseball? :)

Haylie Farmer

I would send the grinch to ryke, he would get so annoyed but daisy would be laughing so hard!!

Haylie Farmer

I hope you guys enjoy your break soon! I wanted to ask a question.. i'm going to book bonanza in june and plan on 100% meeting you, are you going to be doing personalized signatures when you're there? and also are you guys doing a preorder form 💕

alyssa ✨

This question 😂😭🎄 maybe Charlie, I would just like to see his reaction to the absurdity of the Grinch 👀 what games have you been into?? Stardew Valley and Dreamlight Valley have taken over my life

shi luvs st.cobalt

I would send the Grinch after Samantha because I despise that woman & would like to see her suffer a bit (💭).

Andrea

Mr. Ryke Meadows of course 🖤 would love to see how they interact. I wish you both all the happiness during this holiday season 🥰

shi luvs st.cobalt

I adore Stardew Valley (🥹)! I’m pretty terrible at the game itself, though…(😅) I can never seem to maintain my farm because I’m always too busy romancing all of the citizens…(🫣😂)

alyssa ✨

HAHAHAH!! Who’s your fave to romance (if you can choose) 👀 I think mine is Seb or Leah 😂 I constantly have the wiki open whenever I’m playing 🤓 I’m the nerd taking notes on my tasks to make sure I can get it right 😂

Lucia

Would love to see him try annoy Connor. And I'm sure Tom and Eliot would love it as well hahaha

Dani P

Ooh. Interesting!! I personally ship Ben and Harriet. What makes you ship Xander and Harriet?

Dani P

I'm def hoping the extra bonus scene is the Christmas Moffy came out as bi to his family. 🤞

space babe

she has hale vibes, she's college buddies w luna so she might introduce them, she doesn't care about fame at all (something xander really needs), she's tiny, akara compared her to him (akara and Xander are the same height), she's grumpy af and it would be cute bc xander is a Hufflepuff, they're the same age..... lol i know it can be either ben or Xander and i like both options, she just has hale energy 🤣

Kimberly Diaz

Definitely Ryke or Connor lol Lo would love it!

a

i totallyy lovee this pairingg!😍

Dani P

I see what you mean. I read Harriet's scholarly ambition as more Cobalt-like. Plus she and Ben are both science-y majors at Penn and in the same grade. I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing how it plays out either way. I know KBR will do them right.

space babe

right, tha threw me off, in infamous i started shipping her with xander, so i was biased going into misfits, and her being close to luna solidified it, but it can definitely go either way... tho ben is more of a meadows to me lmao

Diana Medd

I would love to see the Grinch annoy Samantha! It would be wonderful to see her get some stuff thrown in her face as well. Also, Happy Holidays to you!! I hope you have a relaxing holiday!

Sioned

Grandma Calloway. (K&B when IS she going g to die…) she deserves to be more than pestered but I’ll take what I can get

Ellieeeee

Yessssss, he deserves it considering his birthday has been missed for years now 😂😭

a

omgg thats truee!! now i have to have the bonus scenee😩💔

Ellieeeee

She’s been described as having pointy ears which will definitely get Xanders attention, also the fact that she didn’t know much about the famous families, she’s not a fan of them so I think he’ll trust her a lot more than the usual person, as most people are fans or follow the famous families

Lauren Gibbs

Samanthaaaaaaaaa, he's coming for you! 😆✨️🎄

space babe

yes exactly!!! i love that!!! about the ears, they're big, idk if they're pointy... but it would be the cutest thing ever omg

Kaitlyn Pasi

i wanna say connor bc i think connor would make the grinch cry and that would be hilarious

Julie

Loving all the ideas, really enjoying the theorizing about Xander. Tony gets the grinch. And we can kill off grandma Calloway. Or we can murder the filmmaker from the Calloway sisters. I would be ok with that. Sorry in a slightly dark place over here

Meaghan Wilson

I would love to see who could “out sarcasm” one another, Lo or The Grinch. It would be an epic battle!

Mz. Chop it Up Walker

Happy Holidays ladies enjoy! I would like to see my Charlie or Grandma Calloway

Shona

I think Charlie because it would lead to a very interesting exchange

Zeynep

I feel like Charlie and Lo would make the grinch feel annoyed LMFAOO

Sarah

Grinch to Scott Van Wright for his porn distribution. Do you know when the podcast will be out?

Kelly Chase

I was thinking Connor as well! I'd love to see his reaction to the grinch. 😂

Kelly Chase

I think this is already a bonus scene? I could be completely wrong but I feel like I've read it before.

Kim Tymchyn

Grinch to annoy someone.... 100% Ryke that would be SO entertaining 😋

Ellieeeee

I recon Tom and Eliot would cause absolute havoc with the grinch 😂

Ellieeeee

Omg also LOVEEEE the shipname Xarriet 🥰

Teresa

Hey Ladies, can you guys do a bonus scene of Farrow warning Lo not to talk about Donnelly to him anymore? And a bonus scene of when Donelly was at Yale with Farrow when he got the news his grandmother was dead? Thanks

Dani P

It's been mentioned a lot but I don't think the actual announcement has been done. I know when Moffy came out to the public it was done from Farrow's POV in Summer Fest '33

shi luvs st.cobalt

I think Sebastian + Shane + Abigail are my favorites!! :) I am also a Stardew Wiki frequenter & I’m sooo grateful that it exists because I’m terrified of giving one of the villagers something that they don’t like…💀😭

BB

I've been rereading wild and fearless and I would LOVE a bonus scene from Daisy's POV of her finding out about the triad. Especially because we haven't had a Daisy bonus at all on Patreon! I would adore her pov and her trying to calm down Ryke.

A spector

I think the comment about Harriet’s ambition being Cobalt-like is very interesting bc you could say the same about Farrow, but both characters have the appearance of a Hale. Also I can already picture Lo bragging to Connor about having high achieving grandkids.

A spector

Also what specialty will Harriet focus on? I feel like the families need an in-house psychologist…

Alexandra

Would you consider writing a bonus scene of the timeline in MLU after Lunnelly get together and the end of the book (for example one of the other dates they had in Luna's room)? I know that period was fairly short but they were so cute together and I miss them so much

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Tony being annoyed by the Grinch would be the Moretti brothers' fav Christmas! Their reactions would be so funny 😂 We always play Progressive Rummy (card game); it was our Grandma Lou's fav card game (our Italian grammie), and we grew up playing it obsessively. Board games this year, we bought the expansion packs to What Do You Meme. We like it better than Cards Against Humanity. We also play Code Names, Catan, Pandemic, and Krista & I will play Monopoly. No one will play Monopoly with us bc they think we cheat lol 😂 What games do you usually play? Our brother will often bring new board games for the holidays, but I can't remember some of their names. His wife is a board game junkie!

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Oooh could totally see him trying to save Farrow from the Grinch and then Farrow laughing with *the* smile that Maximoff claims to hate 😂

Haley Secen

I love playing UNO and spoons for card games, and also Apples to Apples! For board games we play a lot of Clue, Pictionary (yes I will take the opportunity to flex the artskills 😜) and we two versions, the normal and one with an electronic pen that shows up on the tv and also we love Cranium. That one is probably our favorite! It has a good mix of all the games (charades, trivia, pictionary)

Haley Secen

Also 🤣😂 that your family do not trust you two together for Monopoly

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Aww we hope you feel better, Laura! Sending you all the healthy vibes ✨ Is the Flash any good? Worth checking out? Comics, I'm continuing Dawn of X since I'm so far behind Krista. I'm at Hellions #1-4. I'm actually not sure what Krista is on! She's so far ahead of me *hides in shame* Books, I have Electra by Jennifer Saint that I wanted to read, but I think I might just reread Misfits Like Us because I miss Luna & Donnelly and we're about to write Unlucky, so it's a perfect time for another reread ☺️ Games: Progressive Rummy, Code Names, What Do You Meme, Catan, Pandemic. Do you have any game suggestions? I absolutely HATE the Mets. I can say this with my chest puffed out lol (sports rivalries I realized are def real, as I become a sports lover newbie). I dislike the Phillies as well since they're our rivals, but I was actually rooting for them to win the World Series. I think it's more fun to dislike the Phillies since I do love a lot of their players. The Mets it's less fun when they actually do beat us. And by us, I mean the Braves. I will always, always root for the Braves. I obsessively actually listen to two podcasts, but they're both Braves-centric: 766 is Real and Battery Power. I also listen to the MLB Athletic podcasts, but I don't love them as much bc they talk a lot about the American League, and Braves are in the National League. I think what made me pretty obsessive was learning all about the players on the Braves. They're just very easy to cheer for!

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Yes, we'll be doing personalized signatures at Book Bonanza! 💕 We're likely to have a pre-order form as well, and it'll be closer to the event next year. Once we have it, we'll post about it on Patreon (likely in a Fizz Hangout)

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Krista plays a lot more video games that I do; (I mostly just play the sims) but she got me into Planet Zoo! Which is a better, more updated version of Zoo Tycoon and it's sooo addicting. I'll have to check out Stardew Valley! I haven't heard of this, but I know there's like a 100% chance Krista has.

Krista & Becca Ritchie

@Kelly, just to help in case you were curious: Vail Lodge is a bonus that takes place very close to that Christmas, so you get Maximoff's thoughts around this time, so that's probably the one you were thinking of. We haven't written him coming out to his fam at the lake house as a bonus yet 💕

Krista & Becca Ritchie

We're recording them this week! We might space them out, instead of dropping them so close, though. But we can say, it's likely you'll have at least one soon.

Krista & Becca Ritchie

We'll for sure add this to the list! We definitely hope to write around this timeline some more 💕

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Yes, any time gaps like that, we really do look at and there's a likelihood we could write in that time period. Especially because things like this give us a little more creative freedom. That's actually a period (where they're mostly in her room) that we've thought about adding too in bonus 💕💕

Illyana

Eeek thank you for the recommended board games I will check them out this Christmas season 😇 I always love Cards Against humanity... i try and buy the extension packs every time they are available, it's too funny XD And the flash rebirth run is honestly SO GOOD. I cannot recommend it enough! I picked up the run cuz the spider man modern runs have not been quite too good… he’s always kinda sad and miserable and editorial treats him like a 12 year old in an adult body… always mistreating MJ.. and there’s nothing relatable to that XD and a friend recommended flash rebirth cuz theres a lot of overlapping traits to those who love Spider-Man but let me tell you… Barry is nothingggg like how he is in the show! Except for the CSI profession. He’s beyond sweet! He is BEN/Beckett COBALT! Contrary to what the cinematic adaptations portray him to be, (a very frantic, kind of anti-social, can't talk to girls) he's the opposite in the comics! He's Quiet, independent, keeps to himself, sociable when need be, mature, humble, bit of a soft boy, and when crime solving he never forgets the human emotion even when he’s duelling with his villains. He's described as someone who is very neat, everything put away and had a place, because instinctively that something important is always about to flash right through him, and if he lets his world too messy he may never find it. He loves order, chemistry, loves reading comic books and pop culture and horror movies. Another sweet thing about him, is because he get's into his own world (kinda like Moffy!) and goes into his mind palace, he's... always late for everything XD. Which is so endearing and ironic given he's the fastest man alive. But he has a side of posessiveness that crops up ... i won't say more cuz spoilers! :P His villains as well are so grey area so when they fight the stakes are so high cuz you have empathy for them but obviously the flash is who you most root for! And his love interest Iris reminds me so much of Winona. And Barry's love for his side kick (who took over the flash mantle at a certain point) Wally West is amazing. He reminds me so much of Donnelly’s character! Unabashedly loveable, loves superheroing, so ride-or-die, and is obsessed with his matron (aka wife). They are the typical broody sunshine (her, Linda) meets sunshine (him) trope. They share the storytelling throughout their rebirth run so you get the best of both worlds! I was also worried that his run after watching the tv show would be too… like multiverse of madness but it’s actually quite the opposite! It’s been honestly a breathe of fresh air from the very high key-ness the xmen runs have been! Lmk if your keen on a reading list :) And aw okay I get it! Atlanta braves are Phillies rivals! What are your feels on the Yankees and the red sox? :) Is that why we have had very little to no mentioning of the Phillies in a generative way via the core 6/like us characters? Cuz technically it would have to be written in a way cuz they’d be fans and that would be too hard for you to write? 😜I’ll check those podcasts out! Ty! I’m keen to learn :))

Illyana

The bonus scene writes it self really 😜

Haylie Farmer

ugh i love that!! will you be doing character signatures or just our names 💕

Sioned

you've asked them the impossible question! lol

Illyana

that's so funny that you guys are talking about stardew valley cuz MY farmer is Moffy XD I had him out to have green eyes and brown hair XD it felt fitting that it was moffy our friendly neighbourhood boyscout!

Sioned

...I was joking...I'm sorry. I didn't think it was a silly question, I want to know the answer to it too but just was thinking that it would be hard for them to answer. I'm sorry xxx

Sarah

Thank you

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Apples to Apples!! I totally forgot about that game! We used to play it a lot more than we do now, and funny enough, we actually bought Pictionary this year and played! So much fun! But I've never heard of an electronic pen that shows up on the TV. I might have to look into that one now. Oh Cranium is such a good one! ~ B

Krista & Becca Ritchie

Oh wow the way you describe the Flash makes me already love him. He sounds a lot more dynamic than the TV version of Flash. I might definitely get into the comics now. The character relationships sound so good. I did love Iris so much in the TV show, but I always felt like they never gave her much of a role or interesting storyline. I don't have much feelings on Yankees or Red Sox since they're both in the American League (Braves in National League) and the AL doesn't play the NL very much until they go head-to-head in the World Series. I think it's funny that if you join the Yankees as a player, you have to shave your beard 😂 There are some bearded players that end up there and look soooo different without facial hair. Oscar has some pro-Phillies moments in Bad Proposal bonus and his book (plus, the chapter in Fearless where they go to a baseball game). But the saddest thing is we can't really mention any players bc this is technically "in the future". I really, really wanted to mention Bryce Harper! But he would technically not be on the team in this timeline. Already retired, likely. So I kinda find myself restraining on super pumping up the Phillies in bigger ways bc of the timeline and trying not to accidentally say something that would be inaccurate in the future (*waits for my superpowers of premonition to kick in* 😂)

Illyana

Eeek! Okay! I'll send you a cheeky message with the Flash reading order here on Patreon! The Flash is truly the most amazing character in all of DC. And it is BONE crushing to see how mis-representative they all are in them. I could KILL for an animated like movie like Into the SpiderVerse but with the artist Di Giandomenico type animation (the artist of rebirth) it's so beautiful! And much like you guys, I don't REALLY like superheroes where its 'too' action based, so to see The Flash's powers is amazing! There is this auora of humility that they all have and reverense for the Speed Force (time travel etc.) which is so beautiful to see! almost like I am caught up to date with the reading, and am now going back and reading the 90s stuff! It's amazing! Anyway... :') Oh i didn't know about the different leagues! What's the difference between national and american leagues? Do you not follow both? And Omg I can't wait to reread Fearless. I love Oscar so much! And him playing baseball it TOO hawt! Hahaha! I just saw on the ESPN app that a player got sold for like MILLIONS from or to the braves? the amount of digits scared me lol!
