Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

Happiest Friday to all of you!! Behind the scenes, it's been busy over here, and we had hoped to finish the bonuses for this week, but alas, they'll be coming next week instead. We're so sorry for the delay in the content, but we hope it'll be worth the wait! 😁 

In other news, I (Becca) personally wanted to let you all know that I've been starting to sign personalizations in the signed paperbacks. You know the little sayings we write with your names if you buy signed books off our store? Those are usually written by Krista since her handwriting is gorgeous. And by usually, I mean, she has written them 100% of the time. I'm a big fan of her handwriting and not so much a big fan of mine, but since outside of writing Unlucky Like Us with me, she's been working super hard on formatting the interiors for the Special Editions of the Like Us series, and I wanted to take some things off her plate 💪 

So this is all to say that if you purchase a signed paperback and you see that your name looks like it's written differently than in the past -- that's because it's me. I wrote your name. And I'm a bit self-conscious of my handwriting, but hopefully you can find the beauty in it! You can also see my handwriting a lot of the times in birthday cards that I've sent to readers in the past (for birthday orders) -- that messy scrawl was also me. Krista has the curliest, prettiest handwriting, and I feel like Audrey Cobalt every time I see it, swooning.

I kept on seeing Connor Cobalt edits on TikTok in 2021 and I was like “who is that?” so I did some googling and found Kiss The Sky. But then I felt like I was missing a bit of info on the rest of the characters and realized that Lily and Lo had a few books before KTS, so I decided to stop reading and put ATY on my TBR. Flash forward to sometime early last year and I picked up Damaged Like Us and as I was reading I thought I recognized some of the names! Happy lil coincidence 😇 So I finished Moffy’s books, went back and read the entire Addicted series, and continued with the Like Us series and now I’m eagerly awaiting the rest of Lunelly’s books 🥰

*throws confetti* you build that confidence! 🥳 and know that Luna would probably love your handwriting too💚 it reminds me of the Dr. Seuss quote, “there is no one alive that is youer than you.” I loved Ryke and Daisy so much that I was like, “why not start with Sulli’s book?” 🤣😅 Sure, there were times when I was a little confused (townhouse fire, Nate etc etc 😅) but I was FULLY IMMERSED from the get go! I read it on my lunch break the next day and was SO INTO IT that I was late to a meeting. Which has NEVER HAPPENED before. The meeting also wasn’t that big of a deal, but still. I’ll never forget it! 😂 I thought Sulli was going to end up choosing between them but when Beckett brought out those M&M’s it all just clicked for me! It was my comfort read for all of 2021, and solidified my love for Lunnelly. ✨ It made going back to the beginning to read Damaged Like Us THE BEST for ALL the Lunnelly breadcrumbs. 💜💚 I also read more books than calendar days in 2021, and these are still my all time favorites. So, thankyouthankyouthankyou 🥰

I started with Addicted to You back in 2015! 🥰 been a fan since. Fans now are sooo lucky they can binge the entire Addicted/Calloway series. A little jelly that they are reading for the first time 🤭 but this series is definitely my comfort read. I go back to it time and time again. Awww Becca does that mean you wrote all the Christmas cards back then too?! I still cherish it so much haha. Second question, probably should ask it closer to the book signing but with the explosion in popularity I am sure you both can’t sign character notes anymore at signings. 🥲 I’m glad I got some signed back in the day but I am planning to bring 10+ books to book bonanza 😂 plan signing will be the best but will y’all character quotes the new releases like on your store? I had had addicted to you on my TBR foreverrr and I actually was going to read hothouse flower first (dont ask me why im a maniac) and then before I did I was in the bookstore and I saw addicted to you and realized it was the that one book on my TBR so I opened the front page saw the reading order and thanked the gods I hadn’t read hothouse flower first and read the first chapter fell in love and bought it and the rest is history! I read Damaged Like Us first several years ago, probably around the time Alphas Like Us had been released. I'm not sure how I discovered Damaged Like Us, as it might have been a suggested book on Amazon or the cover and summary intrigued me, but I'm very happy I discovered this series (along with the rest of your books) as I really enjoy reading about Maximoff and Farrow, along with a lot of other characters (I really enjoyed Willow and Garrison's story as well).

audible had damaged like us on sale for 5$ and i figured the price was cheep enough and it sounded good so why not? little did i know it was the first book in an (at the time) ten book series haha. once i got to about the middle of the like us series i was like they are really talking about certain events and people as if i should understand and enjoy these callbacks and that’s how i realized there was a whole other 10 book series about the parents i had to read hahaha. most expensive (but best) five dollars i’ve ever spent

Hi Krista & Becca. In Fall 2021 I moved to a different country to start uni and I remember looking for a book or series that had found family. I dont remember who recommended it to me but once I got my hands on Addicted to You let's just say I was addicted to the universe. I read the Addicted/Calloway Sister series, Circus is Family (i recommend them constantly, i want the series to continue hihi) & Bad Reputation duet that year. Then in 2022 i read all the Like Us series books and 2 months before the release of Misfits like us I learned about Patreon. So I read all the Patreon content until i could get my hands on the next book. Later, in one of your podcasts, i heared there are little crumbs of Addicted in Love and Other Cursed Things so of course I had to read that as well. Long way of saying im obsessed with the world and I am really greatful for the characters you guys have created (at different times i relate to a different character). All of these books and bonus scenes are great comfort reads for me. *sending all the love* <3

I’m late!! 😢 love you guys ♥️ The first book I read was hothouse flower, because I was looking for a good age gap romance (I’m a sucker for them!) I just jumped into the Addicted world I guess! I read the third and fourth Calloway series’ books before kiss the sky (I know a I did everything out of order!). Read the Like us series all the way until the 9th book (that was all that was out at the time) I then stalked you guys and found Patreon and the glorious bonus scenes and read all of them in like a day. I read the two more books as they came out! And I didn’t read addicted (lily and lo’s story) until a last summer because I was way too attached to daisy and ryke and didn’t want to go backwards. I know a lot of peoples’ favorite couple is lily and Lo, but I didn’t resonate enough with their porblems( I still highly enjoyed their books though and have 5 stars), but I could relate more to Daisy and her experiences with ptsd trauma and anxiety. Sorry that was long! 😂 ♥️ ♥️

My intro to this world you could say was Tangled like us 😅. I was looking for a smutty book to read in class because I was so bored and I found it amusing to read smutty stuff while I had like 20 people surround me 😂. Anyway, after reading the whole B&B scene I was sold and after further investigation (thank you good-reads) I saw that tangled was actually the 4th book. So I started officially with DLU but by the time I got to Alphas I realized that the Core 6 had their own stories and that there were probably a bunch of easter eggs in the Like us series, so I stoped and went all the wayyyy back to the very beginning…. And the rest was history. One month and a half later I had read every addicted, like us, and bad reputation book, had downloaded circus family, love and other cursed things and the raging ones duology. Needless to say, you guys are now my favorite authors by farrrrrr. I LOVE everything you guys write. It’s incredible to read you work and see the amazing amount of detail everything has. Ps. I was also super exited cuz I finished the like us series about mid april and Lunelly has had my whole soul since lovers 😭😭😭 and finding out their book was next I legit screamed in my house 😂 (I also read misfits in one day it’s my favorite LU book so far 🥰)

Started with Addicted to You. I had purchased all 10 books at one time and put them off for a few months. Started last January read them all in about a month then went on to the Like Us series. So I spent the first couple months of last year in this universe and was and am still obsessed. I purchased Addicted to You and Ricochet for my sister for Christmas and now she is starting this series. I’m rereading with her and it’s my third reread of the series and I still love it.

Yes, I think I mostly wrote all the cards we've done, and you probably can tell based on my messy scrawl 😆 Yeah, we're thinking it might be impossible to do character notes at Book Bonanza. It was really difficult to even get one note in for readers at Orlando, and BB is supposed to be a lot bigger of an event. We do still plan on doing character notes for new releases, so we'll have them available for Unlucky Like Us when it comes out 💖

Ah I love that you're wanting to jump into X-Men comics!!! BEST NEWS! Okay, so I always recommend first time readers start with New Mutants/New X-Men because it slowly introduces you to brand new characters and the storylines are amazing. And it runs into some of the BIGGEST events in X-Men history (as far as newer comics go). So this is our extensive comic book guide: https://www.kbritchie.com/comic-book-guide We list out a reading order for New Mutants/New X-Men, and you can find all of these comics super easily on Marvel Comics Unlimited (their comic book app) where you can read Marvel's entire digital library as a subscription (I think it might be around $7, but I'm unsure) every month. It's much, much cheaper than buying each individual digital comic and definitely cheaper than paperbacks/hardbacks. I would suggest to start out reading digitally to see if you're liking them first.
