Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

Weekly Recap

Happy Friday, magical & super-heroic beauties! We hope you all have had a wonderful February. The weather has been strange where we are and where our brother is located. It's so hot in Atlanta that the tulips are already in bloom (usually these bloom around end of March), and in L.A., it's apparently freezing, which is super unusual.

In bookish news, we're hard working on Unlucky Like Us and the final bonus scene for February, which is also in Donnelly's POV 😏 If you're a Beckett Cobalt fan, you might enjoy this one too! I love Kitsulletti trilogy illustration as well as Jane and Thatcher! They are just so pretty. It’s hard to choice one. But even BIGGER props on making the book material sooooo nice! I love the texture and quality of the pages. Feels very bookish. :) I CANNOT wait for misfits like us illustrated book. Dying for it!!

We just looked, and it doesn't look like we have any orders from yesterday for Bad Rep. If you ordered the hardcover on Wednesday and you added your name and requested character notes, then you'd for sure get them. The only way you wouldn't is if you purchased a "signatures only" copy. I like all the covers. Haley has done such a good job on them. I like small small details in each one. WLU and FLU has a very good vibe. DLU too. The big thing guys, I think Jane looks a little bit like you!! I am generally not good with faces. So like take it with a large pinch of salt, but I think the Jane on the book covers kinda looks like you. I feel more like Becca but you guys are identical twins after all. Does anyone else see it?

I’m going to say Damaged Like Us because the new cover drew me into the series (I’m a newer reader). These are great covers. I don’t think I would’ve given the books a shot under the other covers. There’s nothing wrong with the old covers, they’re just too much like everything else out there right now.

I think it might take a couple of months, usually since they are working on the book basically until the last possible moment there’s isn’t too much room to send the book to get an audio so it usually takes 2-3 months to come out

It's likely to come out after the release date. The time we did deliver the book months in advance to Audible (for the Bad Rep duet), it was still produced after the book released, so we think that narrator schedules also come into play too, so that is likely another factor in the release date 💗

Can you write a bonus scene of Jane’s POV the night of the Car Crash in Alphas Like Us? We have Farrows POV in the book and you wrote a bonus of Ryke’s POV but neither of those have real insight into how Jane reacted when she found out two of her brothers, her best friend, and her younger cousin all got into a crash. It’s been hinted at that she didn’t handle it well but I’d be interested to see what that looks like and what she was thinking.

Carmine_dream has a better longer explanation, but in short, there is likely going to be a spin-off series (a new jumping in point) since the Like Us series is so long, and in podcasts we've been referring to it as the "Cobalt Empire" series ☺️
