Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

HANGOUT QUESTION: we love seeing your response to questions about the Like Us series, and it helps facilitate some awesome discussions! Each week, there'll be a new "hangout question" that you can answer in the comments, if you wish!

With Unlucky Like Us approaching this summer, we're curious to hear how far through everyone is in the Like Us series! So where are you in the series? What's the last book you've read? Or are you still clutching on to the Addicted Series and haven't started it yet?

Weekly Recap

Happy Friday, lovelies! We're still kind of shocked that we're a quarter through 2023 already. This year is flying fast! Maybe it feels that way because it's our busiest year yet, but being busy isn't even a bad thing. We're super grateful for all the opportunities that have come our way, and we're holding onto them tight.

Outside of Patreon, we're still in full Luna and Donnelly mode. As soon as we finish up Unlucky Like Us we'll be doing edits for Dishonestly Yours and then heading straight into Nobody Like Us. So most of our drafting/writing brain power is going into Luna and Donnelly, and we're so happy about it! It's so much fun to be inside their heads and Unlucky is...much longer than we anticipated. That always happens on sequels for us! It's like we can restrain ourselves for Book 1, but with the following books we just want to put ALL the juicy details inside. So this is our way of saying, we hope you like big books!

funny story… i found addicted to you on september seventeenth of 2021, and by november first of the same year i was already on damaged like us (and i read the bad reputation duet in between the two series). by january third of 2022 i had read all of the addicted, calloway sisters, bad reputation, like us, and areal etherial. at that point only up to infamous was out, but i finished misfits the day it released. i love these books!!! i’ve even reread all of addicted and calloway sisters series, along with the bad reputation duet.

So I’ve read from addicted to you all the way up to some kind of perfect! They tore me apart, obvs 😂 With the like us series I’ve only read charming like us from start to finish. I ADORE that book, Oscar is the goat 🐐 all the others I’ve sort of read and dipped in and out of, I know all the key details and scenes but at the beginning I couldn’t even be bothered to read charming. (🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️) silly me thought “it hasn’t even got any of the kids in the book! Why would I find it entertaining!” Then Charlie and Luna entered the chat and I fell in love with those two!

It's still funny that I got into the universe because I loved the blurb of Damaged Like Us so much when I read it in 2021, but I was a big stickler for reading from the beginning at that time. I started with Addicted to You and worked my way towards DLU and it was just the most fun experience!! I'm all caught up with the Like Us series and I absolutely cannot wait for Unlucky~! <3 <3 I also love seeing that Bluegrass event on the schedule even though it's still a year and a half away haha! I can't wait!! <3

I’m on my third reread of MLU. It’s taking longer than usual because I’m constantly having to stop and gush about how precious Luna and Donnelly are! I used to reread the entire Like Us series before each new release but now I just reread the book right before since there are so many (which I’m definitely not complaining about! Please keep them coming lol)

I started addicted in July of 2022 and then finished MLU in January this year! So this is my first time waiting for a release for the next book and I absolutely cannot wait! Although the Berkley re-releases have helped ;) And I am so happy to hear ULU will be a chunky book, I literally live for that haha!

Hey Ladies I just learned that in order to become a surrogate you had to of had a child before, so does that mean Millie Kay already has a child. Also, I hope with the Lunnelly books wrapping up this year, you plan to release a bonus showing how Donnelly met Oscar! Lastly i hope in Unluku like us we see more of Donnelly friendship with Farrow I can imagine Farrow not being ok with Donnelly going back in with his family.

Lol, our writing cave is a nice place to be, but we miss so much stuff here 😆) There are characters who might want to check out Coachella, but they also feel more at home at Philly festivals, which is why they go to ones in their own city 💕💕💕
