Lol instead of Saturday morning tv, it’s Saturday morning podcasts listening to someome talk about tv 😂 First off, congratulations again on your wedding Becca! Soso happy and excited for you and the new hubby 💕 I cannot WAIT for Dishonestly Yours even if it is so far away, I was living for all these crumbs you gave us. And I cannot wait for all the fun things coming next month 🥳 I’m SO PUMPED for Nancy Drew to come back, it feels like eons since that last episode and yes it’s time for *the* ship to sail full speed. I am not a huge reality tv watcher, but I kept seeing the drama of Vanderpump Rules the past few months and since I thought that was a show you’ve mentioned before, I said heck and binged all the seasons so I could be fully ready for the absolute mess that was the finale episode and the first part of the reunion (James 😂😂) I’m so ready for the next parts I love the idea of a trope store so much. It’s literally perfect for all the readers in their hockey or cowboy or single dad romance eras. It’d be like the perfect little niche store and I’d love not having to constantly pull up GR to figure out all the details about the book. I loved The Reunion, it was a super cute quick read and Kayla should be at Book Bonanza (along with Abby, I love her too!) which is super exciting! And I’d looove to hear your thoughts on Fourth Wing! It was a fantastic read!

The fourth wing is SO GOOOOD! I’m not even a fantasy reader I often find it hard to understand what’s going on and can’t really connect with the characters but fourth wing is amazingggg

Congratulations Becca!! Have a happy married life ahead. Of the shows you discussed, I have seen Queen Charlotte and XO Kitty. I loved Queen Charlotte for being just 6 episodes it covers so much. Almost 8 characters get important story lines. It was brilliant. I didn't like XO Kitty as much, it was fine. I am really happy for the all re-releases that are happening, all your years of hard work is paying off. I can't even imagine what you guys are feeling now. I am waiting for unlucky like us with bated breath. You guys got me excited for dishonestly yours too with your blurb. I am honestly waiting for this year to end so that I get more free time to read. I am working and doing my masters this year, so this is going to be a sad year for fictional reading. I am still going to be reading ULU and NLU though.

I totally have to check out Nancy Drew! A Donnelly reminder!? That's THE BEST! I wonder if Luna agrees? Would she watch Nancy Drew or does she skip out on stuff that ISN'T Sci Fi? Could be a funny moment if she were to turn around and be like "Donnelly! That's you?!!!" and him be like, "and are you nancy drew?" and she's like, "nu uh" and him go, "well then i don't want to be in a ship that isn't with you!" Luna: heart eyes

Have you guys watched Sucession? have you guys enjoyed it and been tuning it weekly? What do you reckon the famous ones' takes ARE on sucession (particularly Charlie... 🤭)?

In terms of Top Chef, Vanderpump rules, Survivor and the Challenge! I have never watched them! What do you reckon is the best entry point Season for each? Or where did YOU guys start in the older seasons? Have you consistently watched every season:))

Now that I have HBO Max (Max now?) I have been BIG on binge rewatching myself Doctor Who seasons right now! And it's so nostalgic and fun! It's ironic to me that free streaming of the most classically british thing ever produced on TV (not Sherlock or The Crown which kinda displays only one privileged demographic on screen!) isn't available to us folks here in the UK, but on the US HBO max streaming service haha Do you guys reckon any of the famous ones would be interested in Doctor Who and the Whovian fandom? Probably Garrison and Willow right? What about Moffy and Lo or Luna? :O It has a lot of Sci-Fi elements to it and a very strong exploration of the multi-verse etc. ! Matt Smith to ME will always be my favourite doctor :))

These are my FAV podcasts coupled with the domestic musings you guys indulge in with the KBR multiverse! *Fingers crossed we get a Morning and Nightly routine pod soon! I wish I could go to one of the book signings 😭 I feel the same about 1st and 3rd person. I just much prefer 1st but will read 3rd if I have a reason!! THE BOOKSTORE IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA!!! It's hard to say about Doctor Who because we've never seen it! But our friend enjoys it, so we know bits and pieces about it. We'd say Luna would probably be the one to like it the most out of everyone :D

I've seen all the seasons of Succession. Becca isn't caught up with the new season yet. I could definitely see some of the Cobalts watching it and thinking the Roy family are horrible people and not very intelligent. But they'd prob be entertained by the whole thing like the rest of us who watch it!

Top Chef you could probably start with the newest season and get the gist of what it's about. But my all-time fav season is definitely the 6th season with the Voltaggio Brothers. For Top Chef, we've been watching since season 1 but we haven't tuned into every season. It's something we generally always come back to though.

Vanderpump Rules we've also been watching since season 1 off-and-on and we recommend starting at season 1 to get all the details on the relationships. It's mindblowing the trajectory of all of their lives on that show.

Survivor we started at season 4. You could technically start anywhere, but we recommend saving season 40 "winners at war" until you've watched all that you want to watch from seasons 1-39 since it will have the best payoff. Our favorite seasons from survivor: 6 (the amazon), 7 (pearl islands), 10 (Palau), 11 (Guatemala), 13 (cook islands), 15 (china), 16 (micronesia), 18 (tocantins), 19 (samoa), 20 (heroes vs villains), 25 (Philippines), 28 (cagayan), 29 (san juan del sur), 32 (Kaôh Rōng), 33 (millenials vs gen x), 37 (david vs goliath), 40 (winners at war). We've been consistently watching Survivor every seasons since season 6, but our friend who never has watched the show has been binging it so it's definitely possible to just jump in!

The Challenge is one that's SOOOO much harder to recommend where to start. We've been watching it since it was called Real World Vs. Road Rules so we've seen every season almost. The best Challenge seasons to get a good idea if you'd like it would be: Dirty Thirty, Vendettas, Final Reckoning, and War of the Worlds. But one of our fav seasons that's older is Cutthroat. Survivor and The Challenge are two seasons we don't miss ever, but they also have the most content so it can be daunting to jump in for newbies. But it's worth it!! xoxoxo
