Weekly Recap

Happy Friday, magical & super heroic beauties! It's been a whirlwind of a week. We had the most amazing time at Book Bonanza, and it truly hit us right in the heart whenever we heard the secret phrase code "Lunnelly is in the stars." We didn't expect so many of you to be at BB, and each time we saw a patron, we could not stop smiling. Like our cheeks hurt way too much by the end of the event!

As soon as we returned from Texas, we jumped right back into work since we're on strict deadline mode. We're wrapping up Unlucky Like Us and doing that thing where we reread and edit until the very last minute. We are frazzled! But also so incredibly excited that this book is releasing into the world soon. Luna and Donnelly have truly stolen our hearts. 💚💜

Misfits Like Us in the next restock, you will still be able to request character notes. 

Unlucky Like Us won't be in the signed store until likely September. You will be able to request character notes from Luna and Donnelly for any print edition of this book.

I would without a doubt room with Beckett. I know he isn’t technically a Like Us character but it’s the right generation. He would keep everything neat and tidy with me, I feel like anyone else’s disorganization would drive me insane.

I’d say Jane because I think we’d get along the most but I can’t deal with how messy she is I think it’d drive me crazy 🤣 Maybe Luna? She’s not as messy and super sweet. I’d also bunk with Farrow I don’t think it’d be as fun but he’s so easy going lol Did you guys do anything fun in Texas besides the signing? Or was it a quick trip for basically just the signing?

Probably Beckett! I love having a neat and organized room, plus I feel like he’d be a considerate roommate. If not, maybe Charlie because he probably wouldn’t be around much and it seems like he’d clean up after himself so it’d probably be fine. Or Luna! She seems really chill to be around. I feel like we’d have some good conversations :)

We wish we were able to see Texas, but we actually never left the hotel lol 😂 We were full-mode Book Bonanza the whole time. Next trip, we hope to do fun Texas things though!

I think that I would want to room with Oscar! He’s intelligent (so he could potentially help me with assignments in exchange for snacks) + he was a professional boxer (so if someone ever tried to break in he could handle them — he’s like a built in security system) + I just feel like he would always be down for a fun little midnight snack run! :) 🤎

okay this is so hard… but i narrowed mine down to 3. in no specific order : - audrey. we both read a bunch of romance, and love baking. i also think we’d have a bunch of fun doing each others hair and makeup and just talking. - luna. we would talk about fics we’ve read and spill all about the fandoms we’re in and new movies/shows we love. - ben. ben is a great friend and a great talker and i think just like how he always made xander feel included and important, he’d make me feel the same :)

Hi Girls, I went back and read all the unlucky like us text you have shared. The first look teaser quote or text is really good. If you are looking for a back cover. I think that would work or a third person version of it. Some how Donelley's feelings just seep through. Through all the teasers I have wanted to reach out to him and comfort him. Or maybe I am too much of a fan. I am going to pick Luna as college roomate. She did some business classes. I am doing those now and I am struggling. Would she be open to cheating? We could divide and conquer so much😆. Second roomate preference is Maximoff. He will keep the room tidy, will not drink or use drugs. He won't party. He is considerate and super respectful. What else could a person want?
