Happy Friday, magical & super heroic beauties! We are just one week away from the release of Unlucky Like Us, and we are just crossing our fingers that the title of this book doesn't jinx us in any way!  So far, we've been having a blast with this book. From it's conception all the way down to the editing and now going into the release, it's been such a fun ride. We think Luna and Donnelly would love it that way 🤗

I'm super excited to learn about about Donnelly's past. But I'm also looking forward to see if some of my random questions get answers. Like, is Delilah going to cause more problems? Will we get to see what Connor and Rose think about Donnelly? Will we get to see more Roxanne and Leo? Why is Donnelly's family causing problems now, when the hot santa video/SFO-is-fake rumors have been out for a while? I won't necessarily be disappointed if not all of my questions are answered, but I'm just super curious to see if any are.

Hello hello! I think that the thing I am most excited about, is to spend 'ha lot of overdue time just with Lunalley 'hanging out' you know? I think that with the slow burn as we saw was necessary in Book 1, and getting together around 80% into Book 1, we want that pay off to see them finally kindle together and be in the 'quiet' together <3 <3. Bonus if we get fun Marrow stuff but that's my bias seeping through ehehe. What are you guys most excited about without spoilers (if possible!) hehe

In terms for other fun media, I have been currently LOVING This Pre-Historic David Attenbourgh show on Apple+ that dedicates two seasons to the Dinosaur age! Think Planet Earth 2, but its Dinasaurs! And its soo sweet! What are you guys watching to pass the July days away? Also where on the 'tv watching purity' spectrum do you find yourselves mainly on? Do you do other things while watching tv on the couch generally? Play sudoku, games on the iphone, fall asleep generally? Or are you a purist and cannot do anything else while enjoying/watching tv and get annoyed when others do?

Also, I am re-reading Misfits Like Us as a refresher for the new release and I forgot how good this book is. Just read the part where Moffy, Jack, & the Yale Boys crash the troublemakers’ triple date and that scene is chef’s kiss

Hi Laura!! Hope you've been having an awesome July! Oooh, I need to look more into Apple+ content bc I don't watch too much there. We started Silo on Apple+ though when it first came out, but I haven't really gotten back into it. We typically aren't on our phones when watching TV at all, unless we're doing social media for promo. It's usually a "decompression" time so we like to just chill and not think about anything on our phones. We'll both usually watch something while we eat either breakfast or lunch ☺️ Latley, the only thing we've had time to watch in our breaks is The Bear on Hulu (season 2). It's so good! It's taking us a while to get through it though bc we've only been watching like 15 minutes a day. But it's amazing!!

I love, love, looove the way you write conversations of the couples, so ever since you mentioned we are getting heart-to-hearts between Luna and Donnelly, I have been even more excited! Heartfelt and genuine and realistic scenes where you can really see a couple communicate and grow trust and understanding is something where I really think you two shine as authors! One of my favorite scenes is for example, Marrow in the pantry about the future of their relationship in ALU or the scenes in Misfits with just Donnelly and Luna in her room 🥰 and Farrow is my bonus mention regarding what I’m excited about because his and Donnelly’s friendship is one of my favorite dynamics you’ve ever written ☺️

You are seriously the BEST EVER!! I was looking back through stuff trying to get more details, this was PERFECT! During my reread, When Donnelly goes to see him in the hospital - I literally thought this was someone I should have taken more notice of.

We're really unsure if there'll be delays bc of the strike since we don't get too many updates/info about the behind-the-scenes happenings with the audio and dates. But it really does all come down to the narrators' schedules and where they'll be able to fit it in. We're hoping it won't take too, too long. We'd guess that 3 months from now would be the earliest it'd release
