November is here!! 🍂🦃 You suggested some amazing topics, and now this month's podcast will be chosen by you. Vote below for your favorite topic for the podcast. You can vote for as many topics as your heart desires! But only the top-voted topic will win for the monthly podcast.

Don't worry if your favorite doesn't get picked! You'll be able to suggest the topic again for the December podcast.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Some topics are too spoiler-heavy (for right now). At the current moment, some topics are too spoilery to have a podcast on, and so they weren't included in this particular poll. But feel free to ask again if you don't see your suggestion in the poll! Later on, with more books released, it might not be as spoilery.

2. Our podcasts are spoiler-free for all future books and the unwritten time between Some Kind of Perfect & Damaged Like Us. We won't talk about events beyond what's on-page and what you've read in current books & bonus scenes, so keep that in mind when voting!

Also to note: We tend to shy away from speaking about off-page content and filling in blanks that we plan to fill in via written content. An example would be info about unconfirmed couples that does not exist yet on-page. But like we mentioned, we're happy to discuss scenes that already exist in books & bonus ☺️

3. Some topics are better as bonus scenes. Those suggestions are left out of the poll, and hopefully they'll make it as bonuses one day!

At the cost of my bias showing, I think we should collectively try and opt for more trivia-based podcasts or vote for pods that can open doors to learning new aspects about our characters. (i.e. what's on their phones! Or how they design the houses, or what their reactions what their starbucks order is! Or what their love languages are! Let's nerd out about them over re-discuss once again how Farrow feels about Thatcher for example. We know this already. It's in the book! So why not use these moments to answer trivial questions might not get the screen time in novels casually on a pod?). Instead of reanalysing source material for what seems like the 5th time about a certain friendship or a relationship or dynamic. These questions are answered on the page. Or if not, will be. Trust KBR! They are amazing leaders. The payoff will be so much greater when we get an Elliot podcast when it's his novel(s)! We won't learn anything new that isn't on the page. So why not, in the meantime, nerd over the current era's characters use these opportunities better? Won't the pay off be better that way in the long run? It feels like there is a constant chaise to try and catch KBR spilling spoilers and go "gotcha!" on the podcast. All it ends up doing is, taking a bit away from the shine and reading experience bc we're over-analysing the literature. Connor Cobalt's MO is "show don't tell", so why don't we all take that on and try and learn new small content over re-hashing and re-discussing the same topics we are being told ✨

That’s a great point actually! I’d be really happy if the Eliot podcast won this month, but I’m hoping next month we’ll get more trivia stuff like you said! I usually vote for those ones anyway 🥳🩵

I’m glad you’re open what I’m advocating. 🫶🤗 I’m absolutely NOT saying we shouldn’t have character concentrated or book club conversation based podcasts. But to also give a chance to discussing new things we can learn from them, that maybe are too small to get airtime in the novels like, that we take the time casually to learn here. I would love to know rose calloways skincare and make up routine or Rykes workout routine or Moffy’s day in the life with timestamps in a pod. Rather than talk about a character profile we would benefit from having more in the future, when it’s their era rather then now when we can’t know anything and so it’s all closed off by spoilers and we don’t get the full satisfaction. We just end up having the month’s vote not allocated to something we can enjoy to the fullest potential.
