Bigger and bigger and BIGGER omg I’m so ready (and equally not ready) for this book 😍 you know I love a chonky book

a

depends on the plot, but definitely love interconnected books!

Ang💙 (Oliveira’s Version)

I love following couples through a series obviously why I’m obsessed with this universe but I also loveeee interconnected standalones like the Circus is Family series!!!

Lauren Zaremba

YESSSS so happy the teasers are coming back!!! CANT WAIT for an official date/cover and the big announcement for what is next!!!!

cass (ben’s version)

personally, the addicted/calloway sisters series and like us series are the longest series i’ve ever read. i LOVE the formatting of them and how the series flow. since my best friend is currently working her way through the addicted/calloway sisters series shes also falling in love with the style. she’s currently on thrive and her reactions go hothouse flower have been my favorite so far. she is so excited to get to see KTS and HHF through lilo’s pov now. it’s so fun to share with my favorite person ever!!!

Dani P

For series of 2-5 books I generally like interconnected stand-alones with a different couple each book. For series of 6+ books I prefer the way you guys did the Like Us series where it was an ongoing world that changed up couples every few books (but still wasn't afraid to go back to a previous couple for a wedding or epilogue book)

Andrea

Yesss we need Nobody to be the biggest book of the series ✨ Will you post the blurb of Nobody this month or will you hold off on it until the cover? I can't wait for all the announcements to come 💖

Dani P

And by couples I meant relationship grouping (love those poly romances 😊)

cass (ben’s version)

also today is the best friday in the history of fridays. my indie copy of SKOP has come in and now i officially own all the indie calloway sisters series covers. i am sooooo happy

Sarah

I like the format of the Addicted series for the fact that each couple has multiple books. I like getting connected to a specific couple and then following them for a bit and moving on. I enjoy that fact that you still see the old couples so much as the series goes on too.

Ellieeeee

I’m sooooo ready for a CHONKYYYY book 🫶

Zeynep

Interconnected for me !!

catia's library

I do like both, either interconnected or having the same couple for like three books then another and etc!!

Teresa

I Love a good chunky book!! How big are we talking, which book would you compare it length wise to. To answer your question I tend to enjoy both actually I love when a series just focuses on one couple for a couple books but I also enjoy interconnected series with a different couple. However my all time favorite series are when they're a different couple each book but for certain couples further down in the series the authors give them another book or a novella like a 1.5 book. I LOVE those because you catch up with them a couple months or years in the future.

Teresa

2. Question for you ladies how soon do you plan to announce Nobody like us release date. I have an upcoming doctor's appointment in January and I would like to schedule it on the day the book releases. 2. Was Oscar, quinn and jo dad a pro boxer and what does there mother do?

Brianna

interconnected!! (im so not ready for the end, ready for the chunky book tho)

Lucia scheefer

Interconected standalones!! And the last lunnelly book deserves to be really chunky 😂

Nimasha

I love the way you guys do it where it’s multiple books per couple. I love a long series and I would love it either way but the particular magic of having multiple books per couple is that you get to see them live their lives together which to me is what is always missing from most books. And part of why I adore your worlds so much ❤️

Dana Buscher

Interconnected, your series was the first I've read like this and now I'm spoiled on this style 😂

Megan

I prefer interconnected standalones

Mads

I like both types, but mostly it depends on who the author is, series if its ongoing or its already finished etc. I don't mind Nobody Like Us being super super long the bigger the better! I'm fully convinced that you girls do the series justice and nobody gonna feel like there are things that were left out 🥰

Sarah

I don’t mind following one couple BUT, for the Cobalt series it would be so amazing if it was interconnected. It would be amazing to get more varied POVs of the same scene, not just one couple’s perspective.

Lauren Gibbs

I like series both ways, I guess it really depends on the characters! As long as it doesn't feel drawn out unnecessarily, I like reading multiple books! But sometimes, there are characters where it makes more sense for it to be an interconnected series with different couples~

Arrow

I read both, but my favorite series are often those with multiple books that follow the same couple. This is mostly because standalones resolve the central tension and have an HEA in one book, and if the book has characters I really love, then I will be dissatisfied and will wish I could see beyond the HEA. Some examples of this: Casey McQuiston’s Red, White, and Royal Blue has some of my favorite main and side characters of any romance novel I’ve read. At the same time, I’ve really wanted a sequel (or more than a sequel). I felt that it all ended just as the MCs’ relationship was beginning. I’ve really wanted to just see more because I loved that book so much. Lisa Kleypas’s Wallflower series is another. Excellent standalones, but I wanted to see more. I was really happy when Kleypas returned to that series (through the romances of some of the main characters’ children) years later. One of my all-time favorite series is Jordan Hawk’s Widdershins series. That follows the same two characters throughout. I really love how the world-building deepens along with the main characters’ relationship. If this is asking what we prefer for you all - I think I would be completely satisfied either way with whatever you decide for the Addicteverse because you have already created two series constructing an exciting and engrossing world. I also tend to like standalone series that are followed by an all-character epilogue and/or holiday book (I tend to love these add ons to standalone series because they go beyond the HEA). So sorry! That ended up being waaay longer than I intended. I hope it’s helpful, though.

Angelina (Charlies version) ♟️

EVERYTHING YOU SAID IS WHAT I WANT TO SAY!! So instead of writing my one comment I’m just going to scream on this one

Sarah

😂❤️

Angelina (Charlies version) ♟️

IM SO EXCITED FOR THE NEW SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT AND DISHONESTLY YOURS AND THE WHAT TO EXPECT PODCAST AND EVERY THING EVER AHHH

Angelina (Charlies version) ♟️

Also I have to figure out how I’m going to read NLU on release day but on my kindle or phone lol maybe I’ll get apple books? If any of ya’ll have solutions for me I’d love thatt bc I have never used apple books or kobo and I absolutely cannot wait for it to be delivered so I have to read it the absolute second it releases 🤣

Sioned

I like it both ways because you sort of never leave the characters behind even if they do get somewhat of their happily ever after. Although when writers do this they tend to also add in a bunch of angst and I just want the fluff 😭 I don’t need to see them struggle with anything anymore, you know? So interconnected standalones are my favourite! I just read Stable peak by Deveny Perry (you should check it out!!!) and it was the end of the Eden’s series 😭😭😭 I loved that the other couples had their happy ever after but we still got to see them! It didn’t feel like any of them overshadowed the main two characters :)

cass (ben’s version)

ahhh i got a signed copy of fuel the fire from barnes and noble!!!! i’m so excited ❤️❤️❤️

Rachel

I prefer romance series where a couple gets multiple books before it moves on to the next couple. I think it keeps me more engaged. I tend to become really attached to a couple and want to read their full story before moving on to a new couple. I’ve read a few series where each couple just gets one book and it was much harder for me to connect with them. I don’t like when a love story feels rushed because the author has decided it has to be told in a single book, and then you only get glimpses of them as side characters in the rest of the series. I have never stuck with a romance series as long as I have with the Like Us series! I know I’m going to be devastated when it ends. If it were up to me the series would circle around, after the next book, and go back to Marrow for a couple of books and then the same for the rest of the couples. It would be like a never ending series that just keeps going and going 😁

❥ Cait (The Carraway’s #1 fan)

Hello !! 🩷 Omg this is so hard because I really enjoy both. I really, really enjoy how the addicted series played out where each couple got their own interconnecting stories and that lead to the rotating POVs in SKOP :) I’m so excited for all the upcoming announcements !! 🥳 I was just wondering, since Tom injured his hand / wrist in ULU is he able to wrap presents for Christmas ?? ☃️🎄🎁

Meagan

I like both ways. I prefer one couple for multiple books though. I feel like you can get a real connection to the couple that way. If I really love the couple then I am not ready to say bye yet so I love multiple books. When I know Teaser Tuesday will be starting at any week, every Tuesday when my phone goes off I get super excited. My sister knows this and purposely blows my phone up on those days.

shi luvs st.cobalt

I think it depends on the contents of the series! I do enjoy both options overall, but sometimes I feel as though strict standalones don’t give me enough domestic scenes to satiate that need of mine, and there are some cases where I don’t really get to see the characters act as a couple until the end of the book (which I’m not a huge fan of)? I do think that this varies from book to book, though! There are some series (that followed the same couple) that I felt went on for such a long time that the things that were happening to the characters started to feel unnecessary? I don’t like when it feels as though things are happening just to happen (if that makes sense)? I love the way that Addicted + The Calloway Sisters & Like Us series are formatted and done. The couples get the necessary amount of books that they need to tell their stories, and we also get to see the build up of other couples (who later receive their own books). —— It makes me so happy to hear that NLU is big! Bring on the chunk monster! 🤲🤎 I’ve been following all of the Pinterest updates that you guys have been doing with rapt attention (I adore Pinterest) & I just wanted to mention that I am obsessed with the new back tattoo pin on Luna’s board! It’s stunning (😍)! Do you plan on revealing any new character boards before the release of NLU, or is that something that might happen when the first book in the next HMC series is closer to being released (👀)? No pressure to reveal any new boards before you’re both ready to, I was just wondering! :)

Teresa

Have we been told who Ripley's God Parents are? I feel like I would remember that but I just wanted to be sure ladies 😄

Sarah

It would be cool to have the godparent talk with all the babies.

Sarah

I’m so ready for Teaser Tuesdays to start on NLU.

Dani G

I really love the series that follow the same couple. We get so much more content/scenes with the couple 💖

Teresa

If I had to guess next week 😄

Krista & Becca Ritchie

If we finish the blurb in enough time, we'll post it with the release date / pre-order links. But if it's not ready yet, then it'll be paired with the cover xoxo

Krista & Becca Ritchie

The release date announcement will likely be closer towards the end of the month. We're trying to get a few things finished before then 💖

Krista & Becca Ritchie

We don't do Special Bonus goals anymore since the voting and rounds take a long time, so it's unlikely we'll do another one. (This might be in the weeds, but we just want to mention that we actually haven't hit 3k. Patreon did an update where they included patrons who just follow the page for free and aren't really subscribed in that total number, so that's why the number skyrocketed recently. It's actually the same number it used to be, which is around 2.4k (which is still so surreal). We can see both numbers on our creator page, but we think only members can see the single number. We're not sure if we did start back with the goals, which number to take into account since follows aren't technically pledges but members wouldn't be able to see the other number, so it's all confusing 😅)

Krista & Becca Ritchie

We haven't discussed revealing new boards just yet! But we're going to keep trying to add more pins and some of them will likely be more "teases" for NLU than others ;)

Krista & Becca Ritchie

I don't believe this has been discussed, but let me check with Krista first and our notes to confirm xoxo

Ang💙 (Oliveira’s Version)

I can’t even imagine the work it takes to do all the voting and rounds so I appreciate all the work you guys have done to give us the ones we do have 🫶🫶🫶 I can only see the single number so I thought y’all hit 3k (omw to invest in bitcoin to raise $3000 and make 600 accounts and pledge it all to you 🫡)
