I imagine most people saw this coming, but this is the start of a big lesbian scene with Karen and Lorraine. Karen has only had a few panels worth of exposure in the overall series up to this point, but this scene is gonna ramp that up to 11.

First Karen got all worked up with her time with Patty, now she gets to act out on all that pent up energy with someone who will go all out.
