Ronin's tale:

Horace and Ruby were truly in a bind. The Red Horse Tavern had been advertising that the famous bard, Ellaraine the Eloquent, would be performing there as they passed through Bronwyn's Refuge en route to another kingdom. That was, until a high ranking noble decided to patronize them for much more than a tavern gig could pay them. Now, they were scrambling to find some sort of replacement that wouldn't have their customers try and run them out of town. Luckily, Madame Lauscher said she knew a dancer who could fill in on short notice, and her exotic performance would leave the patrons howling for more.
