From what we’ve seen, simply coming in contact with the juice doesn’t really have an effect. Brian’s clothes are soaked, yet he’s not turning. Then again, the loompettes get infected when they touch it, so there’s probably something to that. Also, we’ve seen Katie, Mads, and Erica have transformed by drinking the juice. So perhaps it is contagious if consumed.
