This is a double update, so no new page next week. The next update will be May 15th.

Katie reflects on her job... sure, it's restrictive, long hours, stressful, and keeps her where she can't see the sun, but some benefits are worth it!

Love the conflict thats in Katies mind. And amazing work with the cameos, its always fun to see familiar faces and that gummy worm is creative af

Chumlee99

Definitely getting the sense part of Katie's problem is the isolation of her position. Everyone else gets to have "fun" or at least the ones like Carla and the greedy ladies in the Candy forest area get to have fun and she's stuck cleaning up messes.

LadyLuckFate

Loving all the different foods, gummy worm texture is great LMAO 👀

Chumlee99

Suddenly I'm having flashbacks to that episode of Venture Bros where the Monarch finally got one on Rusty....by turning him into a caterpillar monster

Raian Maru

Interesting and nice to see more variety of some other candy girls, as well as seeing Carrie’s current situation. Can’t wait to see how Katie attempts to fix the state of this place.

Opik Oort Expansion Comics

Yeah, isolation and having to take on more work than is meant for one person to handle! I wanted a bit of a sense that this place is starting to be held together by a string with too many "human resources" and not enough staff.

Chumlee99

that and the "staff" are insane little gremlins who explode if exposed to what's been extracted from the ladies and can't help but cause shenanigans...and at least one Berry Hulk

Coomcheese

Great double page spread. The gummy worm is very interesting. And is that a red gummy bear?

Raian Maru

Also like the implication on the screen that Kasia (maybe?) might have a interest/crush on Katie.

MatadorTesla

Please tell me that the next page in two weeks is nothing but that big blue butt getting slapped! And if Whitt's there, god forbid, can she at least catcall Katie while watching her from like, a spycam or something?

Chumlee99

Kasia: I will name her George, and I will hug her and pat her and juice her

Shibuyasake

Would hahah xD I wonder how the candy corn wig girl is doing

EvilSandwich

And then there's the added complication that if she does try to leave. Without the company's equipment, it's only a matter of time before she just swells until she explodes.

CleverName

I see two more strawberry hints. Those DMs are aggressive and those loompettes are running scared.

DogePounder

Woah is the girl that’s getting stuffed, crying?

DogePounder

I see it now! Though she could actually crying behind the mask, or maybe enjoying it haha

Raian Maru

Man, why do you gotta strike the feels like that.

DogePounder

I hope the next time we see her is as a delectable treat! (if it’s not Carrie hehe)

Greatkhan6

Hope this means we'll be seeing more of the other girls/sweets in the future. I really like Carrie and the Candy Corn one was so fascinating, it's a shame we've never gotten a good up close look at how she looks now. Honestly as much as I like inflation/transformation I love seeing the "victims" living their new juicy or sugar filled lives more.

Guybuddy1

I appreciate the little detail of Katie kicking off her shoes, trying to relax at her desk. Other thoughts: I do wonder who is Whitt's boss? And when exactly is this taking place? Is it chronologically the furthest out of any Whacky Candy comics at this point?

Raian Maru

From what I suspect, the current timeline is that What-A-Melon would be last since we get a peek of Katie being allowed outside the factory, but how we get to that point will probably be revealed in this comic.

hypershock18

How an evil company provides essential goods to people and people act loyal to them because they provide something they need

hypershock18

I see Katie as the higher up in a gilded cage. They have oower, wealth and comfort, but are trapped and can't leave. They can be aware of what's going on, but can't do anything about it.

EvilSandwich

Haha very true. That being said, unlike the other victims of the company, she blew up into a blueberry because of her own careless stupidity instead of being an actual victim. lol
