Wacky Candy requests that you refrain from giving the workers further ideas or you will risk a franchise wide ban from company premises. :P

Now all I can think is Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk has a similar set up in their factories and warehouses to keep employees in line. How else do you explain pumpkin spice being so addictive and only comes out in the fall

Berry's Bakery

One survived! I hope we see them in the future :D

TrogdorCon1997

You always nail the dark humor so well. Whitt isn’t saying “no” exactly but she’s definitely not saying “yes”! Also looks like the rabble rouser didn’t pop but that might be a bad thing knowing Whitt.

MMatty

I have only brought destruction to their hearts. Someday the workers will unite and do whatever Gremlins do in their spare time.

Chumlee99

That's the forbidden sector of the factory where we see the loompettes who didn't go boom....and those ladies who had bad reactions to their transformations...or other things that require them being seperated

Chumlee99

"Sir! the workers are striking." "What are their demands?" "Um.....*checks notes*....fat women coworkers north of half a ton or fatter and giant blueberry women" "...........................................................I knew it was a mistake letting them have all those fetish books in the break rooms"

MMatty

" Cries "

Nightshade010101

It does bring up the question, why not use loompettes as a means of production? If there's a limitless supply, and don't have pesky things like family members to worry about them, why not? I think we've only seen them explode as a result of exposure to the candy, but if the company knows the formulas so we'll, why not?

Opik Oort Expansion Comics

They are too sensitive to the Expansion Compounds and don't produce anything if they survive, they won't rebound if juiced. It also takes a human touch to process the product through its second stage.

Nightshade010101

The high quality of your world building is evident in pieces like this. Thank you!

Tom the Fanboy

Now I'm just imagininng the murky origins of the company when Agatha Von Whitt discovered the island of Loompettes where they used the secret expansion compounds as bioweapons against each other.

Chumlee99

“Why did they build that wall?” “The tribe says there are “kaiju blueberry women” on the other side”

Trembleuse

Union busting, quite literally. Whitt's getting a bonus for this.

CleverName

Well, I trust Whitt implicitly and see nothing else to discuss here. Good work everyone!

SarcasticObserver1

Loompettes are probably very different biologically to humans so they want human products coming from human producers

SassyCassie

Man it’s a good thing HR put in that “Push in Case of Revolution” button! … wait but that implies that this has happened before… hmm… Regardless, it seems like a really handy thing to have! :D

Chumlee99

I doubt Katie was the only blueberry on the station

SarcasticObserver1

So Katie's juicings was used as a countermeasure for loompette uprisings and to keep them in line. And now that Katie has jumped ship they have a very limited supply until the next revolution. How often do revolutions occur?

WildThiccens

...so you're telling me there's a chance..? :3
