- What would be your ultimate dream studio set up? Gear, chair, computers, accessories. Whatever 🙂

- I’ve got the PC and Laptop for my dream set up already. Well once my PC is fixed I will. I have an i9 14900k with 64gb of ram and a 4080 super, and my laptop is a m3 pro max. I’d really like to get a Steelcase or Herman Miller chair and I think I will be getting that soon. They’re almost $2,000 for a chair but I know Herman miller’s are well known and have a 12 year warranty. That’s pretty good.

- How did you get into this? Did you do any prior voice stuff before this?

- I did some sound engineering before this but I was never the voice being used.

- Are you close to your parents?

- I am, I love them

- Do you have any tattoos?

- I do, and I’d like more eventually. I kinda think I’m into sticker tattoos. I want to sleeve the rest of my left arm and leave a little wrist gap.

- Do you live alone or with roommates? Does that affect your recording times? Haha

- I live alone. But I live near an airport and a military base, so most of the time it’s way easier for me to just record at night when it’s not loud.

- If you were an animal, what would you be?

- I wanna be a cat and sleep all day like max

- How did you get into VA work?

- Curious enough to make an audio and see if people liked my voice. I kinda thought everyone irl who told me they liked my voice were just trying to gas me up

- Do you ever change minor things in the scripts to better fit you?

- Yeah, constantly. Although I don’t really do any scripts unless it’s Evas writing because she writes them for my voice and leaves me plenty of spots to improv and generally doesn’t mind if I spin it my way. But when I was doing public scripts I would regularly change pet names because I sound dumb saying British pet names like sweet cheeks.

- Where do you want your VA career to go? Interested in apps like Quinn or bigger voice work?

- I’ve had offers to have my audios on certain websites, and I would be open to it if I thought the company I’d be working with are good people and the price is right. Unfortunately for these websites the less free time I have, the higher the price of my time. As for bigger voice work I’d love to be in mainstream commercials or narrate documentaries or biographies. Not super interested in audiobooks because of the amount of time it takes to do but I would consider it if the price was right. However there are a ton of thirsty VAs out there who beg to voice the worst books for pennies on the dollar and I do not want to compete in that rat race.

- I’m assuming you’re in the U.S., but where would you visit/live if you could go anywhere in the world?

- I’d love to visit Europe and Asia.

- Are you planning on continuing your book reading series?

- I enjoyed reading glitch, I think just because the plot of it is literally a male VA who moans on the internet. But I don’t think I can read the entire book without violating copyright laws.

- Dream date?

- Cozy at home dates are my shit. Lets put on PJs and order some takeout and watch a movie and relax

- Do you make your own noises yourself?

- Yeah

- Do you know how to swim? If so, when did you learn?

- Yes, and I don’t know. I think everyone can swim unless they panic

- if you could listen to one genre of music for the rest of your life, which genre would you listen to?

- Lofi covers of popular songs is my go to playlist on spotty

- What’s it like having a job where no one knows any identifying features or things about you? I have a very public facing job, so in some ways this seems like a dream. But would like to hear about it from someone experiencing it.

- Big part of what got me into doing this was the privacy. I love it a lot. Plus you guys can just imagine whatever you want while you listen. Maybe you have a type of guy you like. Or maybe you want to imagine the guy at the grocery store who winked at you. I like that you can imagine whatever you want

- Favorite thing about yourself?

- I’m really proud of my sense of humor and I’m a lot better at not being toxic than I used to be

- If you could have any super power what would it be ?

- Probably flying, i’ve flown like superman in my dreams before it seemed really cool.

- If you had $1,000,000 to spend on whatever you want, what would you buy?

- I’d probably spend half of it on a house somewhere that doesn’t have crazy weather and I’d put a quarter of it in long term investments and another quarter into meme start ups or crypto for funnies

- People who can’t read the room or people who trauma dump excessively

- What was your dream job as a kid

- Probably an astronaut or a fireman or something I don’t really remember

- What’s your type?

- I’d say someone who’s pleasant to be around, and someone who makes my life better and not worse. I’m a pretty simple guy. I think that’s what everyone wants.

- Do you speak any other languages?

- I don’t unfortunately, I took a lot of Spanish but I am not fluent in it at all

- What is your favorite book?

- I was real big on the Harry Potter books when I was younger. Nowadays I don’t read as much as I’d like to

- I don’t really have one. I love cheesy romcoms though

- what do you do outside of making audios?

- Gardening, going for walks, cooking, gaming, hanging out with family and friends, sound engineering , graphic design, making music, and I really love all things technology.

- I’m super late 20s

- Where did the idea for your VA name come from?

- The old name deepchoice was just a play on deep voice and me thinking if someone saw the name deep choice on YouTube they would think I’m cocky and click it to see what’s up. I still like the name but it’s a mouthful and people just call me Deepy so I rebranded to DeepyVA. It’s alot simpler and sleeker I like it a lot.

- What made you want to start nsfw audios

- I’m a big fan of nsfw audios myself so I wanted to try and see if people would like my voice or if I should keep it moving

- Will you continue to do sfw audios?

- I want to, and I plan to once I get my pc back!

- Would you ever consider opening up a PO Box? I feel like a lot of your fans would want to send you handmade things

- I have trust issues I don’t think so

- Would you ever want do a meet up with fans?

- I don’t think so. That would be really awkward I think.

- I do IT as my day job!

- How did you come up with the idea of making money with your (really) nice voice?

- I never really had the intention of making money when I started, I just really like audios. I am super blessed to have people who support my microphone and audio addiction and I’m really happy that I get to do something I love so much <3

- do you already have certain ideas about what your Vtuber should look like or is it just like your pictures?

- Yeah I’ve got some ideas floating around. I want to buy one of those cheaper $100-200 customizable premade ones and I probably will just so I can get some experience with it and figure out what I do like and don’t like for when I go to spend the insane amount of money it takes for a good vtuber model

- what makes a “perfect” day for you?

- Every day I wake up is a perfect day.

- is there something you've always wanted to do but have never done?

- I want to make a nukes top 5 type of YouTube channel and just narrate spooky “ghost” stuff or creepy stuff but I lack the time and effort to make the videos etc. But if anyone else would want to put the video / clips together and I just talk on top of it let me know we can split the ad revenue 50/50.

- people who give real feedback and don’t just ride your dick

- You’ve mentioned enjoying cooking, what is your favorite thing to make?

- This changes frequently, I usually fixate on certain foods. Currently I’m big on making home made alfredo sauce pizzas.

- What do you think is KEY to the perfect sound effects?

- Needs to fit, can’t break immersion. Can’t be too crunchy. A lot of people who are into sound engineering can “hear” the microphone a sound is recorded on, and I think things sound better if they’re all captured by the same microphone.

- Are you seeing anyone right now?

- No, I’m not ready for anything like that because I don’t think I’d give them the amount of attention they would need.

- Would you ever consider doing two NSFW audios a week, ya know, as an extra treat? ;)

- I’d need to find multiple reliable editors to make that happen. I’m trying my best to find some editors and I have a few I’ve been testing and plan to test.

- What would you NOT do for 5 million dollars?

- Hurt someone or something. I’d probably do a lot for 5 million though if we’re being honest

- If you won the lottery - I’m talking the Powerball Mega Millions, where would you want to live? Would you live coast to coast or internationally?

- I don’t even know. I’d probably just travel forever and not really have a “home”.

- I really doooo. I’ve always loved microphones and sound engineering. Just never really was super into my own voice. However after having done this for 2 years I feel way way way more confident in my own voice. Thank you guys <3

- Probably the moon landing being fake I think that’s wild. Like what if the US wanted to win the space race so bad they just lied about it? Wouldn’t surprise me that much.

- What’s your daily routine?

- Wake up, eat a snack, work, drink a smoothie 1-2 hours after the snack, work, eat lunch, work, go for a walk, take a nap, work (but on audios this time), cook dinner, and then either get ready for bed or ready to record.
