HOLY SH*T!

I cannot express how hype this finale made me. It says something when the inclusion of You Know Who is not even the main highlight. In one swoop, these episodes delivered on every promise the season had made and then some. I truly do not even know where we go from here.

I've been waiting so long.Just to see your reaction to gambit's introduction. Don't worry about his eyes, i don't know why they're normal in these episodes, but he does get his comic accurate eyes later on.

When you do the next react series you gotta put on the Alf shirt when you do the season 2 finale. Also 100% expected the "you know who" in the description would be the Phoniex and was confused when you mentioned that it won't be showing up for awhile and was plesantly suprised

I think the makers of this show really like Gambit. because he's the only member of mangeto's team who doesn;t get defeated at all in these episodes. Including magneto and Quicksilver themselves.

I remember seeing this finale in reruns! I had just graduated high school and didn't get a TV of my own until long after the show stopped airing, but the s2 finale really was the moment when X-Men Evolution became an X-Men show to me. Untrustworthy Xavier? Mystique sketchiness? Magneto forming a bigger, badder villain team only to be betrayed by one of his kids? A SENTINEL?! It all clicked and I was locked in for the remainder of the series. Also, before Evolution, I barely knew who the Scarlet Witch was, apart from Magneto's daughter with some weird luck powers. Between HeX Factor and the finale, she became one of my favorite characters in comics...just in time to completely flip her lid and become all of mutantkind's persona non grata barely three years later.

DUDE! These two episodes changed my brain chemistry forever. As kid I was losing it on seeing the Xavier reveal. Never saw it coming. And the wait for S3 was insane. Love these react videos. Wouldn't mind them being even longer

Trasks “someone must ensure the survival of our species” is literally Nazi phrasing, that’s either a brilliant reference to establish character, or a very revealing example of how stupid all bigotry is. I mean really the second one is a given, I’d just be surprised if the kids show actively referenced Nazi ideology at that level (the concentration camp is a different sort of example)

I’d like gambit for rogue in evolution if he was highschool aged like the other x-men, instead he’s an adult (in so much as any gambit can be called an adult) and siding with magneto. No im not salty that wristy was actually mystique you are.

Aura Farming has always been Gambits... Tertiary mutation? How many does he have again... The kinetic energy thing, the eyes, the "being just intensely charming at all times" that I'm like 80% sure was canon for a while at least.
