GAMBIT IS IN MARVEL RIVALS

This vid was a bit of a rushed job haha but I HAD to talk about this as soon as I saw it (though it did take me most of the day to finally see it lmaooo). I apologize but this will prob go up later today on YT so I can try and capitalize on this boost.

Its not my usual content, and honestly I did not really know what was happening at times lmao, but its always great to see my boy thriving.

Also in reference to sinister and the lobotomy in the marvel rivals lore this is a gambit that had part of his lobotomy undone, likely an explanation as to why Mr “turn things into bombs” can heal by kinetic energy bombs at people

In the dev vision he says the cards are special and what lets him use the kinetic energy to heal and buff people

I'm sure you might have come across a explainer vid but just in case all his moves have a heart healing version and a spade damage/debuff version And his ultimate charges everyone around him giving them speed jump and damage buffs with a burst of healing and possibly the cards do damage when they explode at the end

When these trailers dropped your "Gambit Gambit Gambit Gambit" chant from one of the ReaX videos popped into my head and didnt let up for 3 hours. :p He's voiced by Ray Chase, who does Cyclops in X-Men 97. I don't know if that's the reason for all the Scottage in the story clip, but it feels like a neat shout out if so. I am EXTREMELY curious how his powers, which are depicted as mostly destructive, are going to be tweaked into a support role for the game. I like what I see so far, though. Now since he's a Strategist In reasonably sure they'll make Rogue into something that complements that. Vanguard is my STRONG preference (insofar as I understand literally ANY of these classes, as being a turn-based RPG fan in my 40s I don't have the necessary reflexes for a hero shooter) but I'm just happy they're both included, and if Remy is any indication, the personality will be spot on even if the powers feel strange.

According to the devs the healing is an expansion on his ability to heal himself with biokinetic energy. That aside I'm so happy to have a stratagist who is an axtual X-Man for this game now. Making Gambit a Stratagist also makes me less annoyed if they do make Rogue a stratagist too, though i would prefer her to be a tank or DPS.
