Mini Articulated Firefly (Patreon)

When printed at 100% These Mini Articulated Fireflies measure only 1.50” long. They were printed on a bambu lab P1S using a 4 color AMS unit. The filaments I used were….

Sunlu Black PLA+, Sunlu Yellow Glow-In-The -Dark, Sunlu White PLA+ and CC3D Orange PLA+ (all filaments purchased from Amazon)

They are Print-In-Place with NO support or brim.

For the clear threaded Mason Jar, I used Sunlu Transparent PLA and CC3D silk silver. There is a file for the jar with the writing and one without and writting. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the transparency of the material the layer seam is more noticeable on the model when printed with the transparent material. I found the best way to somewhat conceal the layer seam was to select “Nearest” for the seam position, which is already selected on the attached 3mf file.

The fireflies can be printed down to 50% and still fully articulate. I will be releasing a separate micro version with an retro bug catcher later this week.
