The first time I photographed Doll (yes, the name she goes by) was a really lucky day for me. We took a boat out to an island about twelve miles off the coast of Gulfport, MS or about twelves miles out into the Gulf of Mexico. On the way out I thought the day would be a waste because the weather looked like storms. The clouds were so low it seemed you could reach up and touch them. The wind was blowing fairly strong and steady stirring up the waters. It turned out to be a perfect storm for great conditions to create beautiful dramatic images with a model who loved nothing more than crawling around in the sand finding the most unique and marvelous poses which I couldn't even imagine. Doll's skills for posing allowed me to totally concentrate on composition and the technical side of photography. The low hanging clouds allowed me to not really have to worry at all about lighting. And the light remained almost consistent all day long. I look back at this day as one of the most productive shoots I've ever had. I begin the trek through my new Patreo blog with images from this time. I hope you enjoy them.

I will add images from this adventure as I edit them beginning with the first dozen or so today.
