Camera Nikon Z7II Lens Nikon 200mm f/2.0 Light all natural...
Every time I start packing to shoot in some remote place where we have to hike for a mile or more to get there I always think about leaving the heavy Nikon 200mm behind to save on weight in the backpack. And then I look back at a few images that lens captured and there's really no other lens in my arsenal that comes close to the beautiful bokeh and the long compressed super sharp captures that this lens has put into my files. The Nikon 85mm f/1.4 (and probably the new f/1.2) come really close. Maybe when I update to the newer version I can then leave the 200 at home. The new Nikon 50mm f/1.2 has already given me some exceptional images and it's tempting to switch it for the 200mm on these harsh hikes in the heat and soft sand. But so far I haven't been able to convince myself to do that.
