We're back!!!! Happy Wednesday! <3 Thanks so much for your patience over the last two weeks since I was traveling. I am glad to bring you right back into New Orleans with the best for last~ Bourbon St!

You didn't think I would draw multiple scenes around this city and not address the biggest, most well-known trait about New Orleans, did you??? If you don't know what I'm talking about, well-- its the stench.

I hope I can smell it for myself one day.

Heyo! I've been to Bourbon St. and can attest to the unique smell combinations. They haven't just yet figured out a way to transmit smells over the Internet -- be thankful! Judas: LOL you inhaled it like you're smelling daffodils. Fletch: You are too precious for words, but Judas is right. The bar's probably not going to kill you. Glad t'see y'all here! Hope you like the update!

Welcome back. This page is gorgeous. That first panel especially. What does Bourbon Street smell of? Fletch is gonna be such a lightweight ain't he? 🤣 smashed on just the scent of beer. He'll be fine. And if anyone starts he can whack them with his leg. Wonder what Judas has planned. Seduce Fletch with his voice? We all know musicians are pussy magnets (or dick magnets too in this case)

You know, I've done a lot of "research" trying to figure out what it is that makes Bourbon St. stink so much, and there seems to be a lot of different answers. Some people say its the constant partying, some people say its bayou, or the cooking grease that gets trapped in their sewer systems. I don't think there one specific answer, so Judas tells us its all of the above!

Welcome back I’ve missed you (even if you did post to keep us updated) I agree with Judas one song should be enough to serenade Fletch You know I get Fletcher I’d be anxious too but he’s straight up frightened :(( Judas will inspire him to be more spontaneous and carefree I’m sure of it because he’s already done it once at the beginning when he convinced him to hitch a ride Bourbon St sounds fun!! I’ve read that it’s part of the French Creole side of New Orleans I love that Jude is sharing his culture with Fletch I find it really sweet and in this context quite intimate

Ooooh <3 It makes me so happy to hear you say that! One of the things I really wanted to achieve with this New Orleans chapter was a feeling of intimacy (and romance) while still staying true to a city that is otherwise NOT very intimate or romantic. Judas is indeed sharing a huge part of himself with Fletcher and in a lot of ways, doesn't even realize it. :)

Can't wait to see Fletch's reaction to Judas performing! Might be how he makes money. I got used to the smell pretty quickly and didn't notice it most of the night lol. Plus, it is such a feast for the eyes and ears you get distracted from the smell. What time of the year you go probably matters too.

What time of year were you there visiting??? I imagine in the summer when everything is baking in the 100% humidity its probably RANCID lol.

It’s also worth mentioning in the first panel, I wanted to name the strip club “Tits R Us”. Mccull only gave me “Tits” 😑….. As in the signage!!!!
