Did I like Babylon when I first saw it? Yes. Have I watched it since or want to watch it again? No.

This review was hilarious! Now that I've watched the full review, I do think a movie about the film industry in general is, and could be, interesting. I did love La La Land, so I'm surprised this was made by the same director. However, when you get into like gross territory with the elephant, that's where I'm kinda out. Like, I don't want to see that crap (literally). If the movie had the same topic, but the story and plot were executed differently, then I might be more inclined to watch it. The description of this movie reminds me of some other movies I will NEVER watch in my life: Wolf of Wall Street, Sausage Party, and a few others. Magic Mike seems to edge on that, which is why I haven't watched that either. The only way I will ever give this movie a try is if I completely skip the elephant scene. Because I really don't want to be gagging and puking during the movie, sorry Matt S. Anyways, I'm glad the movie was for someone.

I watched the trailer for Babylon and I found THAT exhausting...so, you can imagine how I would feel about the movie! 😂

Laughed so hard watching this. Huge Oscar nerd and I am Team Palmer all the way on this one... Robbie was throwing herself at this and occasionally found brilliant moments, but overall I just can't get on board with it. Palmer was also 100% right that the final montage just made me wish I was watching those other (better) movies.
