Took me a little bit to get into this album, but I do like some songs. What's interesting is there's a melodic motif in Ur Mum which has a rhythmic variation of it repeated in Oh No, which does to me make Oh No sound a lot like an interlude, because that's a very interludey thing to do :D However, this exact same melodic motif is also used in the guitar in Angelica too. So I guess it's just in multiple songs. I don't actually hate Oh No, but the lyrics are very.... meh. The melody is pretty good though. I do think Taylor would be panned by everyone, worse than you guys panned folklore, for putting out a song like Oh No, which just makes me think different genres and groups get different standards placed on them, considering how this album is so critically acclaimed, lol. Anyways, honestly, the album felt to me like a worse version of Paramore's This Is Why, lol.
