Hey y'all!

When we tell you that this video was NOT easy to make!!! We are in NYC for the live show (come tonight if you're in the NY area OR buy a livestream ticket!!!), and still tried to react to Sabrina's new record even though a ring light was very clearly working against us. We hope you enjoy!

I always love your reactions and your deep library of pop knowledge. I am experiencing this album differently than I think the two of you did. To me, it felt like a narrative sequel to Short n Sweet, the flip side of horniness and finding a new person. I also felt all the nostalgia of the 70s and 80s (I heard everything from The Carpenters and the Mamas and the Papas and Petula Clark to Chaka Kahn and Abba (and on and on). It reminded me a lot of Olivia Newton-John, an artist whose work always oscillated between sexy produced pop and her home territory of country western. This isn’t *The* big pop moment that SNS was but I’m here for something different in tempo. I also felt that she was working diaristically which is often iterative, returning again and again to an idea to work it out. This album feels sadder and angrier than the last one, but I sort of have that parasocial relationship to my pop girlies where I’m more interested in hearing where *they* are emotionally than I am in need of a particular sound. We will have more exciting pop releases this year and next, but this album felt true to Sabrina’s artistic voice and character. Love you two!!!

Loved this! The light going out was hilarious. The album was interesting. I think I need to listen to it at least one more time to really determine whether I like it or not. But there were some songs I really liked: When Did You Get Hot?, and a couple other songs.

Loved everything the first listen, but the second, third, fourth, etc….. I’m obsessed with every single song. Except for….. don’t worry. That one for some reason really bores me a bit. It’s still good though

The go go juice bridge gave me life

I didn’t love it the first listen but now i like it better than short n sweet. Which is surprising because i loved that one.

This album definetly improves upon repeat listens. It didn’t hook me at first but it keeps growing on me.

I am so excited to see the rest of your reaction to this album! (just started the video) (: You 2 are my favs.

Idk I tend to disagree. I find myself literally humming every song randomly throughout the day. It took 2 listens but now every single song is stuck in my head. Most artists only get 1 espresso in their career. The songs center around the same theme because it is a concept album.

I wasn’t impressed the first listen. Second listen was a little better. There are some highlights for sure but Short n’ Sweet was such a good album. This one felt rushed, repetitive, unpolished, and the man hater thing got kind of old after song 3. I mean I get it but show us more range.
