I would like to state my defence for "Hope Ur Ok"! I'm a psychotherapist and my job involves working closely with people as they navigate mental health struggles and trauma and have often gone through devastating situations. Typically, at some point or another, the therapeutic relationship ends and I don't hear from them again. This is a somewhat unique situation, but this is the only song I've heard that aptly describes how I feel about the clients I've worked with, all who I care about deeply, and hope that they are okay, whatever their life might look like now.
