I absolutely love Taylor, but I am just going to be real. I'm glad that TTPD was a double album. Because my girl doesn't always pick the best singles and some of the vault tracks are my favorites. So personally, I think I would have lost songs that I would not want left in the vault. I am glad that she served us the full buffet and we are all welcome to make our own plates.

I loved Babylon immediately. But, I'm appreciating Patient Zero and Pink Clouding more every subsequent listen. Cleveland is really just a fun little mockery of Travis's ex and her little band of haters. So I can appreciate the lore of it all. Like she said in The Grammys Icon Sessions, sometimes when someone is mocking you, it is fun to mock them back. I appreciate the "yeah bitch but I married him" vibes. Babylon is incredible songwriting. And it is a lovely way to bridge to a new Era both sonically and lyrically. I think this new Era will be more intimate and celebrating the intricacies of everyday life.

I love Taylor and am happy she is happy but she needs to stop writing about Travis Kelce he is just not a good muse...Clevland! is genuinely awful but I liked the other songs. Also to clarify, the narrative hasn't been "Is Taylor good enough for Travis" it's more that his type is not Taylor; he dated mainly curvier black women in the past so the narrative was more "does Travis actually like Taylor"

Patient Zero = Joe Jonas. Remember Sophie came to straight to Taylor after that breakup. Pink Clouding = Tom Hiddleston. He was really good to her and she just ditched him. He's only said lovely things about her. Babylon = her Dad, maybe or someone like him? Huge role in her life and career, but maybe that eclipsed his ability to be present in his marriage. He loved her in country music, was skeptical of her switch to pop. ("Stallion flees the stable""Love this song""Hate this song") Sitting in his car at bedtime - missing the best part (Regular home life, putting the kids to bed. Decorating the tree.)

I don't think Cleveland references Travis' ex. All the insults about her were things that all her haters said over many, many years.. Calling her a w****, flat a**, annoying, bad outfits (even her biggest fans have criticized her outfits), fake, bad dancer, getting old.. All of it. Now Travis has taken her to his hometown, Cleveland Heights, a place he loves and talks about *all* the time, and shown he loves *all* the things about her too

Cleveland is proof the WAGs are vicious. No one else out there is saying “Travis could do better” 😂 of all the criticisms of her, this is the craziest, but somehow that’s the one that she couldn’t get out of her head after getting engaged, and that’s so sad to me

i think that you guys are maybe on a nicer side of the internet or like matt said maybe he just can’t really see it considering taylor’s status as the biggest popstar in the world, but people say all the time that he should and could do better than her. they want him to be with like some “normal” woman who will follow him around the country at every game, sit at every practice and whose life will only revolve around him because that’s the “standard” for (most) of our sports players. they can’t fathom that a sports player is with someone who actually can take care of themselves, and the sports player if they truly wanted to. in my opinion it’s just sexism. anyone with a brain can see that matt is right, it makes no sense to feel that way about their relationship but i encourage y’all to open facebook or threads one time on a topic about them..it’s bad😭

I have mixed feelings about these tracks. I feel like some of the lyricism was clunky, and Taylor might need to go back to editing things a bit more. On a separate note... any chance y'all will be reacting to Carly's new album? It's her best rated album to date, but I can't find any reactions to watch 🥲

Yeah. I agree it's not just her but a broad group of people. I meant that she loves to stir up drama and she seems to try to incite the haters that Taylor already had.

There was a whole manosphere thing about Taylor being too old and basically past her breeding age for Travis. Men being loud and awful on the internet knows no bounds.
