A little late on this update. I've really been putting in some hours so haven't had a chance to come through and edit up all the photos but I wanted to at least catch up with the Stagea. So for a quick recap of the latest episode, we finished off the split flange for the rear fender mould and then were finally ready to remove the moulds from the car and see how we did.

I was happy to see that the moulds came out mostly perfect. I'll get into that a little later but I don't have time to sort it out just yet. I'd say making this side was much easier than the first side, 3D printing definitely got me most of the way there and it looks like the plugs held up pretty well through the heat of the mould making process. After that all I had to do was polish the moulds a completely unnecessary amount and the end result I was really happy with.  I think I can quite comfortably say that these are the best moulds I've ever made. It's nice to see that I am still improving and it's not just making the end product better but it's speeding up the process too since I'm starting to get a hang of it and know what I'm doing.

This photo might not mean much, but to me it's a big step on finishing up this kit, getting the first set of moulds for the second side done, which is now 7 out of 10 moulds finished for the widebody, and then 2 more moulds left for the rear lip and spoiler. We are making some really good progress.

So I'm happy about that at least.

One thing I wanted to quickly touch on is to do with the YouTube side of things. I'm not trying to turn this into a rant because I hate drama, but you'll remember that I took a couple months off to recharge. I sort of knew that wasn't really the best thing to do on YouTube because this whole game is about doing what the algorithm wants, and the algorithm demands consistency. I was expecting my videos to take a bit of a hit and then hopefully come back to normal after a few uploads, but... if you'll look at my latest vids, they really aren't doing too great haha.I'm not gonna lie and say it doesn't bother me, the truth is I put a lot of time into these videos and when every new video I put up is consistently 9th or 10th place out of my last 10 uploads in terms of performance, coupled with a build that has had constant set backs, it's a bit of a gut punch. But because I refuse to just sit here whining about YouTube, I'm going to actually do something about it to try and turn things around.I'm going to be taking a break from the Stagea and getting back into the Mx5 for a while. I just want to get back to a build that I enjoy and hopefully you guys will too. This is just a quick little update because again, very busy, haven't had time to put photos together for a post for yall. My plan is to finish up the front end, starting with making the new fenders to fit the rx7 bumper, and then adding back a bunch of cyberpunk goodness that the car is definitely missing right now. This is unfortunately going to push the Stagea back a little bit further so those kits wont be ready as soon as I'd hoped, but I think we could all use a change of pace.I'll have a post up soon along with the new video, but a little sneak peek for now.
