Someone mentioned in a comment that a better name for this car would have been the LMR2 as in LeMans, and I've been fuming thinking of how I didn't come up with that. I've changed names of my builds before, you reckon LMR-2 is better than MR-C? And also I remembered to include subtitles this time hopefully.

LMR-2 would be a very cool name. Or how about 'Coupรฉ Utilizing New Technology'? On second thoughts, perhaps not.

I Personally think MR-C is a simpler and cleaner then LMR-2 lol... Maybe when the build is done and it's got the full LeMans sticker and style! Edit: After watching the video it feels like an insane amount of progress is made yet again! that fitment on the front clam is indeed UNREAL!... Also it wouldn't be a Tofu Auto Works video without sanding I heard that a "foot sander" is used by a lot of cosplayers who use PLA if you want automate the sanding process a little. But on the topic of the name change, maybe you could run a poll on YouTube, to get the general audiences opinion?

Your work is incredible as always bro!! Hope you have a great Christmas. Can't wait for the rest in the new year. Stay safe and be merry. I love the the name ๐Ÿ˜

Its growing right before our eyes. Beautiful :)

I love that you're building it backwards, from the outside in. You even mention in the subtitles "bodywork first". I think that's unusual and super cool. My vote is MR-C.

Tofu Auto Works

I think because with my builds I always tackle them from a design aspect and so even if I build an awesome car, if the bodywork on top of it looks like doodoo then I'll hate it. So I start by building the envelope first and then problem solving and making it all work.

When I'm working here it always feels like I'm barely getting anything done, but because of the 3D printing, the speed that it's actually coming together compared to shaping my Stagea. We're only 4 episodes in and already have the front finished and are half way through the middle. I might run a poll or get the YouTube input yeah.

Hey mate, love the progress! Wondering if the video could be available via a hidden YouTube link that you post on Patreon as well. This makes it possible for me to watch it on my TV or mobile phone. Currently both are unable to play the video via Patreon so I have to resort to watching it on my PC, which works, but it would be nicer to chill on the couch. At any rate, keep up the good work and happy holidays!

The fitting along the windshield ist to good to believe. Scanned, modelled, 3D printed, moulded and than this perfect gap. Nice job ๐Ÿ‘. Better than every car produced in the USA, EVER. ๐Ÿ˜‚

So I've tried this in the past but because I put everything in a playlist, even if the video is unlisted or a hidden link, anyone watching through the playlist can still access it even before they're supposed to. I considered just running a separate playlist or running it without a playlist until it goes live, but heard that can screw up the algorithm and people have tried at and then seen their views tank, it's something to do with how YouTube sees your video performing on the platform, say it's been "up" for like a week and people have been watching it through a private link, when it then changes from private to public YouTube tries to figure out how much to promote it and it sees that in 3 days only like 20 people watched it YouTube will assume it's trash and nobody likes it and then just not promote it to my own audience. I don't think anybody really knows how the YouTube algorithm works, but I have to kinda tiptoe around it. I will look into this though and see if there's another way, because I hate that Patreon has limited controls and subtitle languages as well.
