Finishing the Bodywork and Making Silicone Molds! Cyberpunk Miata Build: Part 6

In this video I finish up the roof by filling and sanding the whole thing. I know that a full video on sanding is pretty boring but I didn't want to leave you guys with nothing this week so I also experimented with making silicone molds of my gas cap to add some good detail around the car. If you're wondering why a car might need 3 separate filler caps, it comes down to the backstory or the lore that this car comes with. I mentioned it helps to think of this as a full scale model kit and the universe I imagine it in is a futuristic wasteland full of abandoned megacities and unending stretches of tarmac. Why 3 fuel caps? Simple, 3 fuel tanks. Even now we already have flex fuel sensors which allow cars to run on petrol and ethanol, so this really isn't that far of a stretch by movie physics standards. Having 3 on board fuel tanks pretty much guarantees that no matter what fuel source this car might come across it will be able to salvage it. This car is as much about world building as it is about actually making a car. I told you this channel was going to get weird.
