It's back!So first off thank you all for the wait, I know it's been a while. I've been trying to keep you up to date with the build but fully admit that I haven't been posting here as often as I'd like, and the honest reason for that is I just haven't made as much progress as I hoped. There have been a lot of setbacks, things like the prints not coming out well, the expanding foam ruining the parts, having to reprint again and some alignment problems as you'll see in the video. Plus there has ben a lot happening behind the scenes both with other builds that I hope will make an appearance soon and some major developments for the future of TA Works. This is all part of learning and I can't beat myself up too much. You learn more through your mistakes than your successes.I'm going to be getting back into my regular uploads so once every two weeks but this one is going up here on Patreon a week early and I'll be posting the next episode as soon as possible.Thank you all again for sticking with me. I hope you enjoy all the videos to come as we wrap up this Stagea build this year and start mixing in other projects.

Awesome to have you back with a new video. So sorry to see the front fender issue, that sucks! Does it have to do with the work you did getting the GTR front to fit on the stagea? Either way top work as always, it’s looking really great.

Thanks dude, glad to be back into it. And yeah not really sure where the issue came in, whether it was in the original design of the steel fenders or if it was picked up when I made the moulds. Some of it is also probably from the concrete floor in here being so uneven.

It pains me to see setbacks piling up. I’m glad you keep a cool head, many would have given up long ago, just make sure to take care of yourself. As for me as a viewer and supporter, I’m happy because I’ll get to enjoy the project a little while longer 🫣 Keep at it, this build is turning out to be amazing. I was less than excited by the base car’s design, but your bodywork just blew it out of the park!

Also looking forward to hearing more about those other projects and what you have in store for TA

Setbacks are to be expected when everything I'm doing here is my first time experimenting with it. Learning how to incorporate 3D scanning and printing into my process has been time consuming but I think it will save me a lot of time in the future. Cheers dude!
