I had a hard time writing this chapter and planning the pacing for the ending of book 4. There was much rewriting and reshuffling over the last few days, and it just didn't want to come together the way I wanted.

But don't fret! I am going to make up for the chapter I've missed, and you guys are most likely going to get a second one over the weekend.

BTW: I can't wait for this chapter to go up on RR. The haters are going to loose their shit about Zeke's take on "Freedom"

Wait are there a lot of haters? I think its cool how peoples opinions can change and its not just a stagnant character.

Well at the end of a day, its a story in a different world/ culture. If we're forced to base all stories on real life it would kind of defeat the purpose of stories, don't you think? Also I put on a review, I do enjoy the story.

In less concerned about getting the extra chapter and would just prefer getting that delay notification earlier. I'm a creature of habit and I F5 with the best of them.

I have definitely leaned into the entire Slavery thing harder than I initially intended. My original plan for the Korrovan arc was never for Zeke to end up with this many slaves... ;__;

Zeke's neutering slave magic, so that people can't be actually enslaved. I think he's doing fine for his situation; if he was a super-mega mage or whatever, he'd probably free them all and fix everything, but he's not (yet), so he can't, but this is a really good solution to a really awful problem
