Story, Witch and Shop (Development Update) (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

It's been a week since we started our Patreon, and here is our first update! We focused on the Story, Witch, and Shop! As of now, we are going full speed for the Alpha (scheduled for May 2023)!

Firstly, we worked on our own Discord server, which we will provide access to very shortly (added to all tier rewards). We need 1-2 more days to ensure everything works as intended and is secure enough. Stay tuned!

Our main focus for this week was - Witch and Shop. As you know, we have a "Shop" icon on the map, and if you visit it in the pre-alpha demo, you may notice that it's the only map point that has no real functionality. Since it's important to be able to spend your hard-earned dust, we decided to prioritize getting the shop out of the way first. It's quite a technical part of the game, so it will take a while for us to complete and test functionality, but we aim for the fully functional shop to be included in the Alpha.

The Witch is a crucial character in our game. So far, her presence was mainly symbolic. The time has come to change that and make her fully functional. As you may notice, she even has a new outfit! We are currently working on making the Witch of Twiwood Forest worthy of her name.
